Back in Band

I'm back in band after so many weeks because of the H1N1 thing. Felt good. Back with my saxophone. Best thing was, Mr Ng did'nt come. Haaa, you know his scoldings.. can really pressurise you a lot a lot?

Good thing he wasn't here, then we can play whatever songs we want freely without feeling stress.

We played quite a number of songs, from ponyo to shrek dance to ghost fleet to fairest of the fair to air force one to winter. The day was rounded off by the song sock hop tonight. Cool ending.

Okay so i'm currently now listening to boys over flower OST and taking quizzes on facebook. There's this quiz which i took about famous landmark. Really cool pictures there. One of my favourite was this picture.

Another week

It's Monday again. Which means, back to school. It's raining cats and dogs just now. The wind was like. Woo woooo. Had science test today. Wtf... i have no confident at all in achieving good marks. I just want an A. Be it A1 or A2, just an A will do. I suck in science when in primary school. If i get an A for science, i'll be happy for that. Ok enough of all the crappy test.

Home economics was fun today, or should i say everyday? Cuz it seemed fun as long as there is cooking in it :D We made muffins today! Wooray. I would'nt say it taste fantastic, but it was our first attempt so i would rate it 4/5. Looking forward to every home ec lesson!

Maths lesson i thought was pretty boring. Learn the sets and notation thing. I roughly get the idea of how to do but still don't quite get why we must study that chapter..

Played Sims 3 during the weekends. It's like so damn fun that i can continue playing it for hours and hours non-stop. Get the sims to achieve certain things, complete opportunities, download new stuffs from modthesims. Haaa thats my daily routine if i play sims 3. I wonder how will it be if we were in sims 3. People controlling our everyday lifes.. no worries, no stress, can do whatever you want. The best part is, the owner will speed the time up. So it's like sleeping for 8 hrs in real like = 5 mins in virtual life? Haaaa.

My very own Roti John!

Hey! I finally made the roti-john i learned during home economics lesson at home. It taste superb! Well it's just that i used the gardenier bread instead of the french loaf one. But it taste as nice as it shoud be. Here's how i do it.

Ingredients are as follows, Onion, Spring onion(cong), egg, sardine and bread. Err as for the bread, you might want to use the long one instead of the flat one.

Okay so after you've got all those ingredients, time for some cutting. Cut the onions and spring onions. It'll look something like this.

Next. Mash the sardine by using a spoon. You'll get something like this.

Yea i know it looks digusting. Step 3: Slice the bread into halves.

Step 4: Crack the egg and then 'beat' it. It's like what you do when you fry an egg. After 'beating' it, add in all the other ingredients. Onions, spring onions and the mashed sardine.

Drink it? No of cuz! It's still Raw you know. You needa fry it. How? Step 5: Spread the mixture onto your bread. Like this!

Now eat it? Still NO! Needa fry it remember?

Step 6: Fry it on a pan. Duh. For the directions on how to fry, face the part where the ingredients is spread on the pan. About after 1 min, check to see if the part has turned black or in other words, Chao da. What i suggest you to do to play safe, is to flip here and there. By doing so, the percentage of getting it turn black is very low. Be sure to fry the other side, that is the other side of the spreading part. It'll turn cripsy you know.

Solar Eclipse 2009

Okay. I'm splitting this up because it's a new topic you see. Yes, today is the solar eclipse day. 22 of July 2009. Well did'nt actually get to see anything, but did feel dark in the morning. Perhaps because it's rainning. History teacher showed us the solar eclipse video that happened in 2006. It's recorded by someone who had seen it.

I found out about what causes solar eclipse on a particular website. It says that Solar eclipse happens when a new Moon comes in between the Sun and the Earth, as a result of which, the Sun gets hidden behind the Moon, either partially or fully. However, this does not happen every time the new Moon crosses between the Sun and the Earth. It is possible, only if the Sun and Moon are in conjunction, that is, both of them should appear to us, as if they are placed near one another in the sky.

Sian, i can't watch the re-play of the solar eclipse show. It's 11.30pm. That's too late already. Have school tomorrow too.. Oh well, i guess i have to watch it on, youtube?

Harry Potter with san jie

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Gosh. Nearly forgot to blog about it. Went to watch harry potter and the half blood prince on Sunday around 4.30pm. Read the reviews before booking the tickets and the realise all the reviews was...

• Terribly disappointed with this movie ....
• Definately one of the worst in its series....
• It’s a little dissapointing though...

I was like 'huh'. I seriously enjoyed watching harry potter series. If you were to ask me how was it? This is what i would say. Well, not that disappointing like what the others say.

The effects were great but just lacking of some magical scenes unlike the chamber of secrets and sorcerer's stone. Maybe because we've all seen those scenes before already. Effects like how the bridge falls seemed very real to me. Nicely done. So in my conclusion, I would rate half blood prince 3/5.

The main characters are basically, Malfoy, dumbledore, snape, and of course Harry. They play important roles. This series is more on the revenge of voldermort. Theres part where i'm confused. Perhaps its a link to the next series? I'm not sure. Ron is really funny in the movie. Haha. I don't want dumbledore to die. arggg. Oh and theres this part where i got a shock and jumped. LOL. You could see the others in the theatre go up and then down. Haa. Won't tell you where. But its the scene where Harry is getting water for dumbledore. Haaa. At least this series is very much more more more more better than Order of phoenix.

Go have a watch and tell me about how was it. Also tell me if you feel the same way too :D

Problems here and there

As you can see, i've change my blogskin again. Thats because something went wrong in my previous skin. Oh well, heres another one i found. Found it interesting so i chose it.

I was planning to take a shower, eat lunch, do homework then start playing sims. HOWEVER, I suddenly realise i still need to complete this chinese blog thing. Went searching for it in baidu and finally got some information. That took me about 1hr.
Next, i thought i can happy happy start playing my sims. Then, something went wrong, which is the blog skin. Took me 3 hr+ to find a suitable one. HOW TIRED IS THAT.
Its 6.13pm now. Finally i can start playing my games.

Oh, we had home economics lesson on monday. Did this roti-john bread. I tell you, it taste superb. I can't wait to try it at home. But too bad my mum cooked something during lunch already. Will try it out tomorrow. Hopefully, it'll turn out just the way i want.

R.I.P Michael Jackson

1958 - 2009
Well, though its been quite some time since his death, and many have already blogged about him, i felt i should voice out what i have to say too.

I was'nt a fan of him, seriously. I don't even listen to his songs. The Michael jackson i knew, was just someone who can dance and sing amazingly. Nothing much else. Not long after, Newspapers, Television, emails and videos started reporting about the mistake he did. I did'nt check it out but just think that he should'nt had done so. For that, people cared less for him.
After his death, millions and billions of people came to united state to see the last of him. Just one question i've been wondering. Why did'nt the people cared for him when he's still alive? We, people are like this. Its only after losing it then we realised how important it is. Something i learned from this incident, which is to treasure everything single second you can with your love ones.

As you can see, i've changed another blog skin. Took me hours and hours to find one suitable one.. After finding for hours and hours and hours, my eyes began to feel tired so I went on to google to search for how you can relax your eyes.

Heres what you can do to relax your eyes

Hot Towel Trick (Hydrotherapy)

Step 1 : Get a towl and soak it in hot water

Step 2 : Lay down on you bed or sofa and place the towel on you eyes for 5 to 10 mins

Step 3 : While laying down, breath in deeply and relaxing

This trick is really good for tired and stressed eyes.

Heres another one. Simple one

Near-Far-Focus

Step 1 : Hold your thumb six inches from your nose

Step 2 : Focus on your thumb and take one deep breath and exhale slowly.

Step 3 : Then focus on an object about 10 feet away.

Step 4 : Take another deep breath and slowly exhale. Repeat back and forth 15 times

Cool isn't it? I regret not taking good care of my eyes when i was young and now, i have to depend on spectacles to see clearly.. Arrgg.

I had a shock this morning. Woke up and realise that my eyes were as red as an apple. Omg. SORE EYES. Noooo.. But i still went to school. I've missed the lessons on wednesday as i had headache and flu. Not H1N1 i hope...

Alright nothing much to blog about today.
Finally its Friday~~~ which means its the end of the week. Yes! Theres no school on monday! Thats awesome!
Okay something about today. English was.. argg boring. Projects again. SGEM project. Not at all interested but well.. we still have to do it.
Science was .. oh well the same. I wonder when will band start. If anyone noes when, please kindly tell me when. Oh and i'm also wondering will the school close down. My brother's school principal said maybe there will be a closure. HOW GOOD.
E-learning is a lot a lot more better then going to school and study.
Tomorrow's saturday and that means, revision period. Yup, and i'm gonna make full use of it.
I'm currently out of games to play. All games seems to be boring to me already.
