Final Year Examintion Results!

Toady is the last day of school. By right, we should be happy. However, in this case, our mood was set as a happy and saddening day.

Why happy? It's the last day of school! DUH. That's why you should be happy.

Why sad? As you all know, we'll be all going to different classes. That means we will not be in 2E1 anymore. It's either 3E1,3E2,3E3,3E4 or 3E5.

Alright enough. Before i move on writing about my plans for next year, here is my results.

Total : 739/1000

Class position : 3/40

Percentage: 73.9%

Results: Passed

Conduct: Good

Comments: Joanna is a dilligent student who takes a genuine interest in her studies. She has shown keeness to learn and excel. She is very well-behaved and responsible pupil who is very meticulous in her work and punctual at handing in assignments.

Joanna is capable of making positive use of stress to improve performance and displays an ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing situations.

She displays sincerity and respect in dealing with her peers and teachers.

Yeah so thats my results. You ask me how was it? I really don't know what to say.

Am i happy? or sad? I don't know. My plans for next year.

I'll be choosing 3E5 as my top choice.

Reason being, It offers Additional maths. I think thats very important especially if you're going on business course. It has POA that is a requirement for business course too. You see, i don't really have any goals you know.. this really sadden me.

I do have a goal and that is to get into my dream class, 3E5. But thats not a good goal.. i mean, people set goals like to be a pilot, astrounout or doctor... Goals that are far.

Argg whatever it is lah. So i suppose i'm gonna achieve my small little goal?

Farewell to my principal

Hmmm my school principal is leaving for compassvile secondary. Am i suppose to be happy?

Sry to say that.. When i first knew her, i thought my 4 years in East spring would be a meaningful one..

I joined band and thats when i felt she isn't a supportive principal.

What i feel of her is that she dosen't contribute any shit to the band. She thinks that band is a waste of time. Just a recreational band? Has she ever know the reason why wanted to achieve a silver so badly? We wanted to prove her wrong and i'm glad we did it. No supportive to band is one of the reason why i dislike her.

On the other hand, she plans SFL and RISE lessons for us which i thought was something new and that i've never had them in my primary school. SFL also stands for Success for living.

During this period, motivators will come in to our class and motivate us? Besides motivating us, we have programmes like speech and drama which we learnt how to express ourselves well?

Yeah thats about it.

Freedom Writers

Back to school today. BORING. I've made up my mind not to go tomorrow.

We watch movies the whole day.. it get's really boring after sometime. Different movies shown on different subjects.

Among all the movies, i personally like "Freedom Writers" It is shown by my english teacher.

I would say she made the right choice in showing us this movie.

This isn't a cartoon or lame movie. This is a true story and it's so inspiring that i kept my eyes on the screen throughout the whole show. I'll not be going to school tomorrow and that means i will not be able to watch the rest of the parts.

So i'm currently in the process of downloading the movie.

Let me just tell you what this movie is about.

The storyline of the movie takes place between 1992-1995, beginning with scenes from the 1992 LA riots. So basically, this teacher, called Erin Gruwell went to teach in this school, woodrow wilson high school.

At school, Gruwell intercepts a racist drawing of one of her students and uses it to teach them about the holocaust.Gruwell bought journals for them to pen down what they want to write everyday. She would not read them out to the whole class but just to herself.

From the journals she read, she realise that there is a serious race issue between the blacks and the whites. It featured lots of cruel acts, shooting and firing of bullets that killed many innocent lives.

I haven't really finish the whole movie. But from what i've read, it is said that Gruwell went on to help the students solve this issue on race and help them graduate.

I particularly like the part where Gruwell played this line game with them. I believe it is through this small little game that made them realise that actually, they have many things in common.

3 Days till the end of this year

Can't believe i actually pongteng school for 2 days consecutively. Hey look i don't usually pongteng ok..

Of course, there must be a reason to it.

Did'nt go to school on monday because there'll be dancing session!

Did'nt go to school on tuesday because there is literature and i don't wanna see sugu's face!

There. My reasons. Well, it's not acceptable but thats just my reason...

3 days till the end of this year and i'm gonna be a sec 3 student very soon.

Secondary 3 student = Stress + lazy + more subjects + more thinking

Okay okay so before i start my sec 3 life, i need to have fun.

I'm off to my games now.

Super Frankie Lampsy is back!

Hey guys. Haven't been updating.. was too busy with games. Haha. Watched the match against Blackburn on saturday and it was awesome! 5 - 0. TRASHED them.

Felt glad that lampard was back once again with his awesome moves
The first goal was an own goal by the blackburn player, Givet. Haha that was funny.
Lampard scored 2 goals for Chelsea. One of the goals was a penalty.

What a great player. The other 2 goals were scored by Drogba and Essien.

Drogba was one brave guy. A header drgoba.
Look at his position. He definitely wants to score badly.


I was in the ChelseaFC discussion group that time and good to see them cheering together.

His performance was great that day. Nice passes and moves.

Prawn session @ Farmway prawning

It's not fishing this time round. It's prawning! Haha.
Went to this "Farmway prawning" Site. It's located at Pasir Ris

This place isn't as perfect as you think.. It looks kinda lok cok.

Alright, waste no time. So we settled ourselves down and started prawning.

This is definitely not fun at all. Lol, i mean, yeah it's fun but not when you caught a prawn.
The prawn is like "jumping" here and there. You don't even want to go near it.

That is what we caught for today.. and what do you do when with it? Bring it home? NAH
We BBQ it of course.

This is ridiculous. What a small pit. Anyway, a pit is good enough for us to BBQ our stuffs.

Gotta first set up the charcoal. Hey this takes up a lot of time you know.
Stacking it up and making sure it does not fall..

Now for the lighting up of the starter.

Don't be too happy yet cuz it's really not easy. The fire got blown off in less than a minute. -,-
It takes up sometime for it to start working again. Pissed me off.
I think we took up more than 1 hour to get the fire start again.

Got home around 7pm plus. It was a nice experience for me :D

Luck isn't on Chelsea last night.

After watching the team move off the field after full 90 mins, all i could say was
"Luck isn't on Chelsea's side"

If you had watch the match, you would have agreed. Both the goals from Villa were from header..
That is also mainly the reason why i hate corners so much.

One thing i hate about this match is that when you lose, most likely you're opponent is stronger than you. However, in this case, Aston played well, so is Chelsea. There is no reason Chelsea can lose. I was like "fook fook fook" the whole time round except when drogba scores.

Our defending was weak.. that's for sure. We all can see that..
Saw something that made me feel "Urgghh" When aston scored the second goal which gives them the lead, John was like "Argg no. This is not happening" I got a shock.

Well anyway, we lost eventually so there is no reason to argue about it.
Right, let's all just move on and continue.

It's all Over.

Yep, it's all over! No more exams. And what do you do when exams are over? Yeah, relax and have fun. So yea today gonna blog about it.

But before that, today is quite a day of disaster. Theres ART exam today and i forgot to bring my materials with me!! Gosh dang. I only realised it when i was halfway to school.... i ran all the way home and people were looking at me with weird expressions.. (argg) It was already getting late and i ran abit while going to school... Was quite late and i was like panting when i reach school..

Right, now for the enjoyment part. After our last paper, i rushed home.
Rushed home because i really wanted to shower and then start 'on'ing the com and start playing.
Feels so good to be able to play all day long. Haha

The day before, i asked if my primary school friend, yeening, wanted to watch a show with me tomorrow as it's my last paper and i wanted to get rid of the stress.

She agreed and met up at around 3.15pm at Tampines Mart.

Well, we went to watch Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 3D. I pleaded daren to go with me... haha because he said he watched before already. After much persuasion, he went with me.

"Cloudy with a chance of meatballs" Strange.. why is the name that long.. People started calling it "Meatballs" already.
Anyway, nice and funny show. Haha. The little children are so cute and funny.

We went to catch the 4.25pm show. So before the show starts, we of course went to have some fun - Arcade.

Played our favourite game.

Exams thoughts.

Completed 4 papers. Left with 8 more papers to go!

2 October we had English paper 1 and Chinese paper 1. English i thought was okay but chinese.. totally sucks. Did'nt expect these questions to come out.. depressed

Nevermind.. my paper 2 can save me? or perhaps not.

8 october we had Mathematics paper 2. The time was not enough! I'm not the only one who said so... it's really not enough lah. 1hr 15 mins only? What the? But i did complete all but there's just some i'm not sure and DID NOT have the time to even think about it.

Let's just put maths aside. Today we had Science. Glad to say, it's easy. Not VERY easy lah, but just okay okay. At least i can do them.

FINALLY it's the end of this week and i have the time to rest and play(a little)

Tomorrow is the day.

What day is it tomorrow? Nahhh, not birthday. It's the start of our EXAMS.

It's English Paper 1 and Mother tongue paper 1 tomorrow.

Revising letter format, speeches and writing just now. Phew, hope to do well tomorrow :D

I've always been saying "Don't play play, it's streaming year this year" since the beginning of 2009.

It's real fast as its going to be the end of my sec 2 year soon.

Can't believe i still see myself as a sec 1. Haha ok enough of all the exams.

There's another BIG day coming up. It's on Sunday. Nope, not birthday.

It's Chelsea Vs Liverpool. Did i hear chey? Hey.. this match is gonna be exciting.

I'm still fuming mad to see the stupid idiot referee sending cech off.

How can cech not play against liverpool?

Anyway, i'm pretty sure Hilario would perform well that day.

It's another stressful week.
