Read the article hereThose who went there to buy electronic stuffs such as games like psp, wii, ps3 or xbox has a very high percentage of getting cheated.
We were cheated once. That day, my sister and i went to sim lim sqaure to get a psp for my brother's 11th birthday. Went there because of the really good deal. Everyone knew sim lim sqaure for the stuffs there are really cheap.
So the story continues on to say that we saw this shop outside that is selling psp for a cheap price. Cheaper than the others. Human instinct. When you see something that is really cheap of course you would go get it. Thats what we did. Bought the psp and everything was fine until someday later. The psp system lagged. Everything seemed ruined. I Believe it was the memory card problem because the games we downloaded can't be played. It says game file corrupted.
Had to get it repaired at the nearest electronic game store near our house. It isn't cheap though.
Lesson learnt : Do not buy anything from Sim Lim sqaure.
I think i had posted something related to sim lim sqaure on my previous previous previous blog post. So yeah, finally these cheaters were arrested.
Google sim lim square and there will be tons and tons of thread about the scam.
