Home is still the best place no matter where you are. Understood that sentence during the 3 days 2 night band camp in school.
It was damn tiring. Tired from the practices, physical trainings and of course DRILLS!
I'll try my best to elaborate the activities we had on these 3 days.
First Day
Had drills first at sunrise terrace and it's very tiring. Especially the marching on the spot part.
We were going faster and faster and we were like jumping already.
3 Hours of drills and then we were off to games. Played quite a couple of games on the first day.
We played the mine thing where one person from your group will be blind fold and you have to guide him or her to get the items without stepping onto the paper plates (mines). This sounds easy but to make the game even more challenging, you cannot use human language which also means you have to use words like lah lol leh meh mah.
Next game was the bottle thingy. Lol that was pretty boring. Each group member have to hold the ends of the string and pour the water that is in the bottle to another bottle. Unfortunately, our water spilled.
Well thats about all. Oh yes, cling cling. DAMN Hilarious. Practice started from 1pm+ and ended at 6pm. What the? Thats not all, we had night practice from 10.30pm to not sure what time.
Second Day
Not much of games. But we had night walk that day. Practice and practice and practice. Nightwalk was ... not sure whether it's scary for them. I was one of the "ghost" and was sitting on the chair near the hallway corridor. Hahaa. Chased them. I was very thirsty at that time..
Third Day
Finally the last day. No practice (Great) But theres sectionals. Crap. Then it was time to clean up the band store, music room. Went back to bunk and packed up our stuffs before leaving. There's water bomb but i did'nt feel like playing because i was so eager to go home and sleep on my nice and comfortable bed surrounded with penguins. And i want to hug my xiao pang pang too. Hahaa
Final thoughts
Okay erm what i think about this camp.. Yea it's tiring but through this camp, i felt i've become a more discipline person. We got pumped a couple of time due to punctuality.
Well, sorry because there's no picture posted up here. Check out facebook.. i'm sure there'll be some there including those dances that the teachers did. Oh and Mr NG too hahahaaa.
I'm going to Kittylab on friday. Third and second sis went there already and god dang when they showed me the pictures, i'm like omg thats so awesome. They explained the games to me and haha i thought the butt shaking part was kinda funny.
