Movie Review : Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Hey guys. Just came back from the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Wore my customized shirt and it feels amazing!

We went to catch the 7.30pm timeslot and thank god there isn't ASP after the Motivational booster, which initially i thought should end at 1.55pm so that we could go for our ASP till around 4pm. The motivational booster lasted till 3.30pm and just imagine having to go to ASP after that. I'll go mad.

Anyways, i would love to share my thoughts!

This is obviously part 2 of the Deathly Hallows, in other words, it's a continuation of the part 1.

So what exactly do i meant? I would suggest you to re-watch part 1, in case you've been so tied up with your stuff that you forgot all about it.

The scenes were very fast. Very brief, not much of explaining. Having read the book, lots of things were not being shown and explained. Perhaps you would like to pick up a copy of the deathly hallows before watching the Movie. Basically, you will just crave for more when the movie ends.

On the Positive side, i love the Battle of Hogwarts. It's absolutely stunning. However, the deaths of the fellow people should have been shown. As in how they died and not just die there.

Of course, there are scenes that will make the people in the cinema laughs, hard.

I just can't stand the way Voldermort laughs. It's suppose to be vicious but he made it seemed hilarious and i was laughing away. Sometimes i think he needs to enunciate his spells clearer...

So, yeah, i'm sure you guys should've read the book already, therefore more or less expect certain important scenes to be shown in the movie. As for small parts, don't even expect.

They seemed to change some part of the story though, for example, Harry, Ron and Hermonie were thinking of exchanging a fake Gryffindor's sword for the help of the Goblin so that they could get into Bellatrix vault to get the Hufflepuff cup. They didn't mention that part.

And i didn't know that the items in Bellatrix vault would multiply when touched.. i thought the vault was on fire.

The 19 years later were a bit fast though. Should have showed more about Draco and introduce all of the kids, not just one of Harry's child. What about Ron's and Hermonie's?

All in all, i give Harry potter and the deathly hallows 4/5. It captures your vision from the start till the end. It sends your heart pumping throughout the show. Only improvement would be perhaps explaining it clearly.

Hey guys, looks like i'm back to blogging. Just look at the date! I would like to do an update of major events that has happened this while.

I had my O Level Chinese Oral today, 8th of July. First of all, it's held in the Library, how weird.. Secondly, during the 5 mins reading time, we sat in a way such that we are facing the other students. What the? But that's okay, we get to study their expression. The passage was okay, the conversion was somewhat similar to the Day 1 question. The problem with me was that i kept repeating my points i guess... ok don't really want to talk about this..

Luckily, there's something i can look forward to! Harry Potter! Yes, my saviour!

Thousand thanks to my Er Jie for the tickets! She booked the tickets yesterday! That means the two of us are gonna watch it on the day it is release, 14th July. How awesome is that?

OH and not forgetting, we'll be wearing our Harry potter shirt that day to the show!

I've set myself a target, i'm gonna have a Harry Potter Marathon on next Wednesday, just a day before Deathly hallows part 2 is release. Our Potter project is not done yet.. Hopefully, we will be able to complete it soon.

Oh well, i can't think of anything right now though i know i have tons and tons of things to update. Will update immediately when i'd thought of it.

Embarking on a Potter Project.

Mid Year Examination officially ended last Friday, by right, we should be relaxing and enjoying. But no, thats definitely not the case for me. It's time to work towards MT O Levels. What a pathetic life... But hey, everyone has to go through this stressful period so yeah, just have to work hard and play hard later on after O Levels.

It's Monday today and we had our post exam activities.
The Career Fair was beneficial to me. It makes me have a clearer idea of what awaits me after my education and what can i pursue after this. Then of course, the unforgetable programme, Dance. Okay seriously why would the school even bother to plan this and claim that they are specially designed for the sake of holistic development. I mean i appreciate what the school has done for us, because from what i heard from other schools, they are having Intensive MT lessons..

Anyways, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 will be showing somewhere in July and you know what? My Second sister and i will be embarking on this so called project, where we will create a "All you need to know about Harry Potter in 10 mins" to show our appreciation to this entire series. Thanks a bunch to Rowling for creating this magical wizarding world that even i myself have thought that this world might really exist. It's such an amazing series powerful enough to make you want to watch and read the entire series all over again.

Hopefully, our "project" will be a success.

It's been a while since i started to write about soccer. Haha, ok whatever so United just won their 19th title and my Third sister showed me a picutre of her friend with a United Jersey and printed at the back of the jersey was "We did it 19 times" Ok i would say it was pretty cool but because it's a United stuff, it sucks. Chelsea drew with Newcastle 2 - 2 and luckily Arsenal lost to Aston Villa. Phew.. secured our Second place. I don't know what's going to happen to Chelsea and what Roman will plan to do.. like bringing in Zola, Mourinho or Hiddink to replace Ancelotti?

Selling of players? It's always sad to see players whom we've watched them play leave. Players like Ballack, Deco, Belletti, well come on they are great players..

Band No.40 : Silver!

Hey guys. I've been busy these days and one of the reason is because of the once in 2 years Singapore Youth Festival central judging for band. Oh and by the way, our competition was on the 5th of April.

Good news, we got a silver! Although it didn't meet our expectation, (we wanted a gold), given the fact that we managed to sustain it, we are already very happy.

The band before us was ACS Independent.. the stress level is there as a result.

What? End of March Holiday?

Hey guys. I can't believe this. It's already the last day of March Holiday.

It shouldn't be called a Holiday, it should be called March extra intensive week.

It's good that i finished all my holiday homework even before the March holiday started.

Spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday to finish all of them. That feeling of completing all your homework is just splendid.

The following days that follows = Insane.

Now where's my holiday?

Anyway, i'm not here to rant. I'm just gonna update a little.

Picture says it all. That match was at 3.45am and i couldn't afford to miss it so i woke up and watch it with my sister and brother even though there is school the next day.

It was around 5.45pm when the match end so it's roughly time to prepare for school.. It was a torturous day in school for me. Damn fatigue. But hey its 2 - 1 so i was rather happy in school that day. Haha.

There's gonna be a few more big matches and one of them is today at 11.55pm.

Guess what? It's Monday tomorrow and dang! I'll still be watching it so... just hope i don't fall asleep in class!

On Monday, i actually had my first ever online shopping. Haha and it's on games.

Ordered Disney Epic Mickey on Monday through Qisahn and it came on Wednesday.

Transaction made was pretty fast but delivery wasn't exactly on time. It is suppose to arrive on Tuesday but it only arrive the day after. Played the game and i love it! This is my 12th Wii game by the way.

Finally, the last update, at 5pm today, there's actually a live performance by Youtube Symphony Orchestra 2011 held at Sydney Opera House. Our tutor was actually there and proud to say that he is the only Singaporean that manage to get into the symphony. I thought it was pretty cool to have a live performance through youtube. Haha.

CSI : The Experience!

Hey guys. Okay this is like an overdue post... But anyway, my Da jie and i went to this exhibition, CSI The experience, on the 19th of February which is also the second last day of the exhibition.

Surely you'd know what is it without me telling you so.. It's on the paper and television..

Yup, held in Science Centre. Can you imagine us having to travel all the way from East to the West of Singapore? Yeah i joke with my da jie that we had traveled around Singapore in 1 day. Haha, around Singapore in 1 day.

Hey guys. Yes, i've been questioning myself all these while. Am i really 16? Unfortunately or Fortunately, i am. I just celebrated my Birthday yesterday, 10th of February.

Had a great time because i didn't go to school. Lol.

But hey! I did revision for almost all the subjects at home okay...

Speaking of school, i'm damn sick and tired of this year. Teachers are literally throwing tons and tons of homework directly at our faces. I longed for the next holiday to come. Seriously.

Monday i have ASP. Tuesday free. Wednesday band practice. Thursday ASP. Friday Band Practice. The only time i can rest is weekend. O levels ah.. O levels... I need a stress ball!

Heading back to the topic, which is about my birthday, i'll definitely be posting up pictures soon.

Right now, i can't think of anything else because i just want to sleep.

Hey guys. On the 15 of January, i got my second Edusave scholarship award. The first one i got was when i was in Secondary 2 and the second one i receive was when i was in secondary 3.

Okay i'm really happy. Haha. Oh and i was also the top 5% in my school.

I want to share my joy with everyone out there so here the pictures.

Meridian JC Open House.

Hey guys. It's the second week since school started. Haven't been able to post due to the tight schedule. I'll be sitting for my O level this year and i tell myself i shall let what happen during my primary school years happen to me this year.

Well, actually nothing really happens in Primary school. Hahhaa what i'm referring to is that if i'd worked harder, i'll probably score even higher for PSLE because i know i can do it.

So... i'm already busy preparing for my O level now. Doing lots of assessments, going through the textbook all over again, making notes and stuff. Yeah, i definitely want to do extremely well for O level this year. Okay enough of the O level thing. About my week in school. First week was pretty alright, but homework is already getting in my way.. but thats okay because i want to do more!

Second week is worse. Even more homework. I would appreciate if the teachers communicate with other subject teachers so that there wouldn't be like homework for every subject everyday! This is insane! And no more notes for Social Studies? What the? You guys want us to do well and now no more notes? Alright.. sure..

I'm currently taking a break so i'm able to turn on the computer and do some leisure stuff. Will be back into the revision mode at night.

Oh yes i went for the Meridian JC Open House on 12 Jan 2011 with my Cousin. The school is really blue and of course, it's my favorite colour so i like it a lot. Pretty big but i have to travel quite a distance to get there. My Uncle said Meridian isn't really a good school as it's a pretty new school and the teachers there do not have much experience. I may have to re consider my choice..

Hey guys. First of all, a very Happy New Year to all of you. 2010 sure was a great year for me and i hope 2011 would be a even better year!

Last night was the countdown night and i was indeed busy. Nope, i didn't went to countdown. I was counting down at home. Why was i busy then? I was busy switching the channels of the Television. Countdown on Channel 8 looks pretty good. On the other hand, Channel 5 looks awesome too. So what do i do? Switching channels all the time. Great to see long gone celebraties back to countdown with us.

Anyway, i'm not here to discuss about the countdown.

I'm here to list down my new year resolution which i believe most of you should've done so.

Mine's pretty simple actually.

First of all, i hope my Family and Friends will stay healthy, strong, happy and be safe.

Secondly, i hope i do well for my O level this year!

Thirdly, i hope i will live life to the fullest and basically do what i want and pursue my dreams.

School's starting in about another 2 days.
Homework's all done... phew. I can't stay still when i revise my work.. wonder what's wrong. Hahaa. I just hope that everything goes well in 2011.

Movie Review : Gulliver's Travels.

Hey guys. 2 days back, I went to watch Gulliver's travel with my Er Jie and Daren

I don't know if you'll do this but for me, if i want to watch a particular movie, i would always check out it's description and also the comments given by those who'd watched. At first, i thought this movie would definitely score but in fact, it didn't.

Those who'd watched gave it around 2 popcorns out of 5 which is to me, considered a really suckish movie! How could Gulliver's Travel, a movie which i thought would turned out looking good, be worth only 2 popcorns! Nevertheless, we decided to go as planned and watched it.

I'd say i agree with the ratings and i'm gonna give it a 3 out of 5 popcorns.

The reason to why this movie sucks. is probably gonna be because this movie has got no climax at all. I find this movie really draggy and there are some parts which is kinda redundant. Redundant because i totally don't understand some parts and the movie didn't really explain the parts. I mean, since they're not gonna explain then why even bother showing us the part?

The first part of the movie was indeed draggy. Okay so the point is.. he's a mailboy. Ok we got it! Just get to the point! Come on...

We didn't watch in 3D so i couldn't really talk about the effects and whether it's worth watching or not. But from what i know, it sucks. So don't bother paying an extra amount just to watch in 3D. Gulliver's Travel without 3D is just as fine.

Story wise, yes it's Gulliver's Travel. The old classic story. Frankly speaking, i don't really know the exact detail of the story. Yes it's about Gulliver.. washed ashore after a shipwreck. Woke up and find himself at an island called Lilliput. Basically with his help, Lilliput was able to win the fight against their enemy, Blefuscu.

Okay i'm not gonna go through all the content of the story but i'm just gonna say that there's slightly a twist in the movie. But the story is still the same.. just a very slight twist here and there. Jack Black was okay in the movie.

Overall, this movie is for kids. Teenager, Adults, you wouldn't want to catch this movie.
Why? Some of the parts are pretty lame and only kids will laugh and enjoy themselves.
Having said so, thought it sucks seriously, i guess it's still okay to catch this movie if you want to.

3 out of 5 popcorn for this movie.

Update to my Christmas Celebration Post.

A Very cool Messenger Bag!

Dad and mum got my brother and i the wii game Donkey Kong Country Returns.

And as for the Ultimate Wii Challenge, there isn't really much pictures to show the games we've played. This game is called "Hide and Hunt" if i'm not wrong. It is found under the House Party section. Oh and by the way, this is a wii game called Wii Party.

Maybe a little explanation is required here..

Well, this game is basically hide and hunt. One person hides the remote and the others tries to locate it within the time limit which is 100 seconds.

In case you're wondering what the hell are they doing..

They are searching for the remotes!

Apparently, the remotes gives out an animal sound to help you locate it.

Yes indeed it helps you to get closer and closer to the remote but sometimes, it can also cause you to be confused and the next thing you know you are running all over the place.

Daren's pretty good. Hmmm hahaha. Searching high and low for it.

And finally the final score is out!

As i'd mention about the tie part in the previous post, i shall not repeat it again.

After the 1VS 1 Minigame, this is the final position with me myself, in the second position!

I lost to my Er jie hence causing me to earn second place! Oh well, i suck at that game so.. yea.

Hahhaa but it was really fun.

KhekSter's Christmas Celebration.

Hey guys. Did you enjoy your Christmas? I did! Had a great time with my family, haha.
The atmosphere was superb! The lighting's, presents and laughter made the entire house a brilliant place to celebrate Christmas.

I woke up at 9am (it's considered early for me) probably because i was too excited.
Rather disappointed as i'd expected a pair of socks to be placed somewhere near my bed. Haha

Last year, my dad and mum actually placed a pair of socks on each one of our bed and inside the socks was actually money. Haha it was so funny!

Okay let's get on to the Celebration shall we?

The celebration started around 4pm+ where we had our sumptuous meal!

Shortly after our meal, it's time for Presents!

Before that, let me tell you a little about my Family's Tradition.

We make it a point, that each person in the family is to buy gifts for each other. To make it even more exciting, our family consist of 7 people and that means each person has to buy 6 gifts! For the past few years it was always my dad, mum, da jie, er jie, san jie who bought the gifts. This christmas, i was included! As for my Brother, he's a bit lazy so he wasn't included. Haha.

Alright i shall be posting up the presents i received from my family soon so be sure to keep a look out for it.

Dad gave everyone a Christmas card with money in the red packet. Mum and Dad gave my brother and i a wii game "Donkey Kong Country Returns" Da jie gave me a very cool zinc bag. Er jie gave me a Lacoste shoes meant for school. San Jie gave me a very cute Penguin soft toy, Westlife Gravity Album and a Cute Penguin mug bought at Universal Studio. I love them all and thanks a bunch to my awesome family!

After the presents session, it was time for the ULTIMATE WII CHALLENGE.

"Inserts the Wii Party Game disk" Wii Party is no doubt one of the best party game i've ever played. With over more than 80 minigames, this is the definite one game that you should buy for any wii party! Glad i picked this game up! There were 6 participants altogether namely, Da jie, Er Jie, San Jie, Me, Brother and Weiqi. We were divided into two groups as we only own 3 wii remotes instead of four. (Each time in a different group). Played the minigame and the winner earns 3 points while 2nd and 3rd earns 2 and 1 points respectively.

We played quite a number of minigames as we round up the entire wii challenge, the top 3 emerges. There's a tie between the first and the second. Er Jie and i with 19 points, Weiqi and Daren with 17 points. What do we do then? We played the 1 VS 1 minigame to settle the problem. Okay so apparently, 1st prize goes to Er Jie, Second Prize goes to myself! and Third prize goes to Daren. Hahhahha dang i lost to my er jie! Haha nevertheless, overall, we had a great time together.

That rounds up our Christmas Celebration!

4 Reasons why i can't wait for Christmas!

Hey guys. In just 2 days, the day we've all been waiting for will arrive! Aren't you excited?

I have a bunch of reasons to be excited. Yup, here are my 4 reasons.

1. First, mum will be cooking curry and beehoon for lunch.

2. Second, there will be turkey, log cake and many many more delicious food for dinner.

3. Third, there will be a Wii Party challenge and the winner will walk away with prizes!

4. Fourth, it's finally time to open all our presents! (This is the part where i am most excited) Haha!

I can't wait for Christmas!

Movie Review : Hello Stranger.

Hey guys. Went to watch Hello Stranger with my Third sister yesterday at 7.25pm. We decided to meet at Tampines Interchange at around 6pm+ for dinner before we enter the cinema but apparently, it's 6.50pm when we reach the mall itself. No choice but to have popcorn for dinner. Haha. Okay so here's my review of this movie.

"Hello Stranger" is a Thai Movie but of course you would expect english subtitles at the bottom.

It's a Romance/Comedy film as you would have guessed from the picture.

You will be expecting laughter through this entire movie, it's really damn hilarious. Hahahhaa

The story involves the women and the guy above. The two of them went to Korea execpt that the guy went on Tour while the women went to Korea to attend her friend's wedding.

They met each other when the guy missed his tour bus because he slept in a place where backpackers stay. The women lived there. So, when the guy woke up, he saw the women and frantically demanded the women to escort her back to his hotel. Unfortuntely, the women misread his hotel and causes the guy to miss his bus.

That is when they started to hang out together, play together. Hahhaaa very funny. The scene where they were at the statue was very funny. Hahahhaa

Also, when watching the movie, you would most probably found something amusing. The guy actually resembles Pierre png! Hahaha.

Overall, this is a well worth 5/5 movie. There's a reason to why it's called Hello Stranger. Apparently, they both do not know the name of each other. A rather shitty ending but well, maybe that's what the title is about so.. yea.

This feeling suck!

Hey guys. Believe it or not i'm actually not feeling feel. Not literally sick but just ain't feeling well. Again, it's the chain reaction thing. Sore throat leading to Flu and then to Cough then to headache. And now even a change in Voice. This feeling sucks!

Sore throat and flu is gone now left with Cough and Headache.

Hope it'll be all gone by the time Thursday arrive cause i'm going to JB for the first time.

Yes and it's my first time! Given the fact that Malaysia is so near Singapore, i'd never been to Malaysia. Lol what a joke. Okay so i'm going there with my mum, second sis, daren. Heard from my sister that their popular stuffs damn damn damn cheap. Haha will check that out definitely.

Haha okay err just tried photomerge on Photoshop and it's very fun haha.

I had a hard time thinking on who and who should merge together so that it'll be interesting and woah la, it's Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. Haha okay now enjoy.

I'd stayed up late last night just to watch soccer and i'm glad i didn't missed it.

It was Chelsea against Spurs. Entertainment value 5/5 definitely.

What the heck it was so exciting and i'm freaking worried as spurs were leading 1 - 0 first half.

Chelsea played well during the second half. I'm glad Terry started the match. He's the key to defending. Very good playing from him.

Lampard is back! He is back! I'm so happy! Though he only played for about 10 to 15 mins, i thought he played well.

Anelka was off that day. I wonder what's with him... not alert and not running, too lazy? Perhaps. Kalou was off too. So finally Ancelotti decided that he should do something.

Sturridge in, Lampard in, Malouda out and erm i think Kalou out can't really remember if it was Kalou.

Drogba started the second half. He was the one who equalized it. Great goal!

Until the 80th++ minute when Gomes crash with Ramires. Chelsea was given a penalty and guess what, Drogba took it instead of Lamp. and he friggin missed it. Damn! Well, it happens so can't really put the blame onto him though he should've really let Lampard take it.

Okay i guess thats about all for today.

Hey guys. I'm pretty sure you might have already notice that Facebook is never the same before. Yes, the invasion of Cartoons.

At first, i thought it was lame but after seeing many of my facebook friends changing their profile picture, i thought "why don't i change mine too?" So i spent quite some time to remember my favorite childhood cartoons. There's quite a number but i ended up choosing Super Mario as my cartoon character. Of course i had reasons for choosing Mario.

First of all, i'm a Nintendo fan and Mario happen to be a nintendo character too.
Second, i love the wii and enjoy playing Super Mario Galaxy and New Super Mario bros.
Third, i grew up playing Mario games so yea that was why i chose Mario as my character.

Hey guys. Yes, it's officially December and that means Christmas is just around the corner!
I'm so so excited! But of course, after Christmas, it'll soon be the 2011. I feel sick at the thought of taking my O Levels next year. Dang!

Anyway, i feel like a pro. I can actually spend my entire day watching idol drama without feeling anything and finished the entire series within 2 days. Pro or what. Haha.
Right guess i better enjoy myself now. Haha.

My Wii Games Review

Hey guys. My Nintendo Wii is officially a year old and i figured i would do my wii game review since i've been playing them frequently and hence have experience. These are my opinion so your's may differ. My Dad got me a Nintendo wii last year november and since then, i've been buying games. Throughout this one year, i bought a total of 10 games. Let's check it out.

1. Wii Sports

Wii Sports came with the wii. In other words, if you have a wii, you should already have this game since it's free! I'm sure this is the game that makes you hooked on the wii. I remember the day when we first got the wii, my family played this game for hours and hours. We had a good time together. Haha.

Boxing, Bowling, Golf, Tennis and baseball, these are the sports that you get to play in the game. Personally, i enjoyed boxing and tennis. Very fun and funny. And yes you really do sweat playing Wii Sports. Wii Sports is for everyone regardless of your age, it's so easy to control, no button combination. Ideal game for christmas.

2. Wii Play

Got this game the day we bought the wii because it came with an additional remote.

Wii Play is a collection of 9 minigames. I'd say after playing this game, you'll find yourself comfortable with the remote. As the wii remote is wireless, sometimes, it's pretty hard for you to point at the exact location you want. But after completing wii play, it's easier.

There's only 9 games so you'd probably finish this game within a day.

But of course,i'll still play this game occasionally.

Wii Play is an okay game. It's neither bad nor good, if you're really keen on picking this game up, buy it used, because it'll be more worth it.

3. Mario Kart

I got this game on the day i bought the wii too. (They're promoting)

Bought the bundle so it came with the wheel.

This game is freaking awesome! Fun and cute racing game for everyone!

The Wi-Fi connection works really well and playing it with your friends makes it even more exciting! Anyone who has a wii should definitely pick this game up!

4. Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

This game is weird. Mixture of weirdness and hilarious. These rabbids are insane!

I don't know if i should call them idiots or cute. Hahah they are just insane!

Rayman Raving Rabbids is a party game and that you can play up to 4 players.

It's best if you have 4 people to play with. The minigames are fun and creative. It's also an ideal game to get for christmas.

The rayman series includes, Rayman raving rabbids 1, Rayman raving rabbids 2, Rayman raving rabbids TV party and Rabbids Go home. Pretty good party game but there are only 50 minigames. Thats the downside of this game..

5. Super Mario Galaxy

Oh yea.. anyone who own a wii should have already own this game.

2007 Best wii game. Super Mario Galaxy 2 has just been released this year during june.

Thought i love the first series, i don't intend to pick up the second series.

This game is really long.. i'm at my 91st star still though there are 120 star for you to collect.

It's an adventure game where you have to clear the stage and get your star. There are 121 in total.. When you have gotten all the 120 star, you will unlock luigi to get your 121st star.

The graphics, music, presentation is amazing! I love the music so much that i downloaded the soundtrack. You can go google this game and you'll see how many positive comments people have gave to this game.

I don't know why but for some reason, it has been sometime since i pick this game up to play.

Maybe because i'm busy with other games.

This is a must have wii game if you have a wii.

6. Wii Sports Resort

Got this game for Christmas last year. Another ideal game to play this Christmas.

If you love Wii Sports, you'll love this. Fun for all to play.

7. Band Hero

Bought this game during the June Holidays this year. By the name of the game, you would have guessed it's a music rythem game. Rock Band + Guitar Hero = Band Hero

Hahah yes thats what i came up with. The Songs in Band Hero is better mainly because it has more pop songs in it. But as for gameplay, presentation, it's not as good as compared to rock band and guitar hero. Still, it's really fun.

8. New Super Mario Bros

This is an awesome game! I love this game. 4 players cooperative game. Choose your characters from Mario, Luigi, Yellow Toad or Blue Toad. Sometimes it gets frustrating when you have 4 players as you'll bump into them and well.... basically just being destructive to you. Awesome awesome game.

9. Okami

This is the game i've been playing recently. It really resembles the Zelda Twilight Princess game.

The presentation is amazing. Graphic wise, it has this Japanese feel. I love this game as you uses your Celestial brush and draw stuff to solve the puzzle. Really fun game.

10. Wii Party

I have been waiting for this game for about four months since it was announce during June.

Got it on the 1st of November for $62 at Qisahn, Far East. And true enough, i wasn't disappointed with this game. Just what i'd expected. Played with my family and it was damn hilarious. Had a great time together. Hahaha great party game. Oh and this game is quite similar to Mario Party 8 but there are more features in Wii Party. More game modes and minigames.

Hey guys. I'm back from Band Camp. Yup, i'm dying from exhaustion. This must be the most exhausting band camp i'd ever went to in my entire 3 years. Practice practice practice.

Having said so, i thought i gained a lot of experience through this camp.

The SYF 2011 set piece were out on the 15th of November and we have been practicing the piece for the entire camp. Just like last year SYF, we had to choose one out of the two pieces.

Last year was Overture no.1 and Overture no.2, this year, it's Memories of Friendship and The Singapore Flyer. Firstly, by the name of the pieces, it's definitely a lot more related to Singapore.

If you were to ask me which is easier, it all depends on what you think.

Both pieces are alright, Memories of friendship is slightly easier in my opinion. The Running notes are all from the scales so it's not a problem. But maybe for articulation and emphasis we got to pay more attention. To play this piece and you're aiming for Gold, it's difficult to achieve as you got to really perfect the set piece. Heard from my conductor that most of the band are playing Memories of Friendship hence it is vital that we perfect it and give the best that we can on SYF. Okay enough of the set piece, let's get on to the camp.

On the first day, 23rd of November, we had exchange at Yishun Primary.

Bands that were there include, Yishun Peixin Concert Band, Pasir Ris Concert Band, Hua Yi Concert Band, Yuying Concert Band, Manjusri Concert Band and East Spring Symphonic Band.

There were two rounds. First round = Serious music, where we played Costa Del Sol and St Petersburg March. Second Round = Pop music, where we played Fairytale (Tong Hua) and Mongol800. Really enjoyed the entire exchange.

Second day was bloody exhausting. Practice practice practice all the way. My teeth hurts!

Woke up at 6.30am and got ready at 7am. Started our morning exercise in the morning at 7.30am. Basically it's the same as last year. Round around up and down the basketball court for 2 rounds then pick up your instrument and blow the scale. Then another 2 round, blow, another 2 round blow, another 2 round blow. INSANE isn't it!

Third day our section had sectionals with Mr Fahmi.

Great time with him and i'd learned a lot of things from him. Thumbs up.

The day we'd all been waiting for, Night walk!

All Secondary 3 students are the "Ghosts" for the night walk while the sec 1 and 2 are the walkers. So i'm one of the "ghosts" and i'm at the first station, which is also the first group the walkers will meet. We changed a lot of formation, as in, our places.

First Attempt = Fail. Damn retarded, they're not scared. Okay fine so i suggested we should change our places. Second Attempt = failed again. Okay thats it, so i decided we should go further down as it's too near the starting point. Shuling had her torch light with her so i figured that i shall on the torch light and put it on the ground. A kind of creepy feeling. Haha. And yes it worked out pretty well!

Some funny incidents here and there. I think it was Nasuha with err another girl, not sure who is it. They're alumni by the way. Apparently, Nasuha started chanting some sort of sentence the minute she started walking. Lol had to control myself.

Another one was Justin and Jeremy, sec 1 tuba players.

They're damn funny.. Justin was the funny one. Jeremy told Justin not to walk there. I was hiding near the door so if the both of them were to walk past without seeing me, then i can scare them. Justin ignored Jeremy's advise and walk pass the door without realizing i was there. Justin got a shock and continued walking. He turned his head around and the next thing he know, Shuling was right in front of him. Again he got shocked. Hahha.

Next up is my junior Anis. She's damn bloody funny. They were too focused on the "ghosts" that actually bend their head just to see who the ghosts is. I was hiding near the door so i'm able to see their head. Lol very funny. Hahhaaaa. Jiaqi, from flute section was very funny too. She was singing "Hello.. hello.. hello.." Hahahaaaaaa.

Half way through the night walk, we heard ms tan, teacher in charge shout "Stop all activities now" At first, i thought someone saw the real thing.. but it turn out to be police.. Police came because of the alarm? Not really sure but i did heard an alarm. Someone probably opened one of the classroom door and triggered the alarm..No choice, have to stop the entire thing.. But i think there's only left with a few pairs..

Overall, I'm exhausted. Need some sleep.

Hey guys. Had a really great time yesterday. Shall summarize what me and my third sister went yesterday. Home --> City Hall --> Penisular Shopping Centre --> Orchard --> Far East Shopping centre --> Somerset313 --> Home.

First up, we went to City Hall to get my Chelsea 10/11 Home kit.

As recommended by Chang Yong, i'd decided to head to City hall, Penisular Shopping Centre to purchase this jersey. And yes i must really thank him. It's a lot cheaper there as compared to Adidas, World of Sports or any other places in Tampines that sells the jersey.

I bought this jersey at $70 (Womens cutting) at a shop called La Vanita.

They sell lots of other soccer merchandise too. But some of them may be more expensive than some other places. Hence, i bought the jersey only though i'm tempted to get the merchandise..

Had my name and number printed on the back of my jersey.

It's much more cheaper to print it in La Vanita too. $2 per letter and $10 for a number.

Total printing fee = $22

Total amount = $70 + $22 - ($10 discount) = $82

Thats not even the price of one jersey in Tampines1! Standard price is $89. Cool isn't it! Great deal.

Something funny happen in that shop. A Couple walked came in the shop.

The guy said "Wa, 很香 hor" Because an Indian couple actually own the shop, the moment you stepped in the shop you'll be able to smell this Indian Smell. The couple damn bastard..

Okay so we went off to Orchard, Far East Shopping centre to shop for my third sister's stuff.

After that went to had our dinner @ The HandBurger, located in Somerset 313.

Again, something funny happened. Apparently, our meal was $33.65 in total. My sister gave a $50 note to him. The manager, taking the bill, gave back my sister $34 as change. Lol? We realize it when we stepped out of the shop. Hahaaaa.

Went to HMV next to look for the albums we're looking for. Unfortunately, Westlife safe album is still not there yet. Sister wanted to buy the new Adam Lambert album but then... she saw the ManUtd calendar and decided to give up the album.

You can't believe how excited we were. Lol i bought a Chelsea Calendar as well as a ManUtd calendar for her.

We went to Goal@313 to look around.. and i saw this bottle. I can't decide if i should buy it or not. Bought it in the end..

Yea so thats about it. A Chelsea day out.

Having Band camp on the 23rd Nov to the 26th Nov, gonna pack my stuffs now.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Hey guys. Finally the final epic finale of Harry Potter is here. Don't get me wrong, i'm not really a Big fan of the Harry Potter series but given the fact that i've started watching the Harry Potter series since i was young, i'll say that i am considered a small fan of the Harry potter series. Hence, this epic finale is a must watch!

Epic Finale? Epic? How epic? Totally true. This is so far the most epic series. You'll be catching your breath the entire time while watching. Somehow like a thriller. Obviously you will have to watch it in the Cinema or it won't be that thrilling.

Anyway, this entire part 1 talks about Harry Potter hiding from "The one who shall not be name" Yes, voldermort. Apparently, all the muggles left the town in fear of anything that could happen. As long as Voldermort is in there, it is not safe for them to live there anymore.

Okay shall not reveal anything. Haha. But yes this is a must watch if you've been watching the Harry Potter movie all these while. This is one of the best i believe. One of the most exciting Harry potter movie.

Gonna rate this movie. 5/5 Definitely.

Hey guys. I went for Band today and immediately after band, i headed to the nearest 7-11 store. Reason? Nope, not to top up my card.. Nope, not to have a bite either.. You'll most probably be startled at my reason. I went there to buy Match Attax Cards...

Yes i'd already guess what you're thinking. Only young kids buy Match Attax cards... and right here, is a 15 year old teenager. What the hell? Nevertheless, i went ahead and bought four packets. $6.00 in total.

Hey guys. Yep, it's Saturday today and there just isn't anything i feel like doing.
Tried to concentrate on my Chemistry worksheet but failed to complete everything.. half way there. There's something distracting me but i'm not really sure what it is..

Watched the new Westlife Safe Music Video and holy crap i can't wait for it's released!
Really soothing song filled with emotion. I don't know whats with me but whenever i listen to westlife's songs, i feel sort of bitter. Wait, maybe bitter is not a really good word, perhaps, full of emotion. They're songs are so "powerful" that sometimes those lyrics kept reciting in my mind, like a chant. Maybe thats the reason why they are my favourite boyband since i was young.

Okay, let's put music aside. Let's talk about Movies.
On friday, i watched "The Mummy", which was shown on Channel 5. It's my first time watching though it the film is a 1999 film. Totally love the adventure! Egytians, anubis, mummies, pharaoh, i use to read books about them. Didn't know they had a trilogy! Was watching The Mummy Returns just now. Oh i just love advetures. Haha.

Alright, putting Music and Movies aside, let's talk about Soccer now shall we?
I apologize for this rather random post. I just feel like blogging so i did. Random stuffs here and there, yea. Alright let's get back on the topic. So, basically, tomorrow's an exciting day. Chelsea VS Liverpool. Pretty much discussions everywhere. As we all know, Liverpool has been facing some downfall before NESV took over. Now that they'd taken over, things has been getting better for the reds. But in such a short period a time, how can they defeat The Blues? Chelsea will trash Liverpool. No doubt about that. I predict Chelsea 3 Liverpool 0. With Drogba and Anelka, we have no fear. It's been sometime since Lampard played, would really like him to return as soon as possible.

Wii Games Picked up AND Daddy's Birthday

Hey guys. Three days ago, i picked up two games at Qisahn, located at Far East. You may wonder why head all the way to Orchard? Qisahn is a reputable shop mainly because of it's service and the price of the game.

I went there and i don't really think their service is really that good... i mean the staff don't even know the price of the game.. come on.. But anyway, the price is all that matters. It's a lot cheaper to get games there as compared to other gaming shops.

Of course, i didn't go there just to get games. I needed to head down to Plaza Singapura, Spotlight, to get some materials for my Daddy's Birthday which was on the 2nd of november.
Made a toy dog for him. Haha.
Didn't really expect it to turn out to be so cute. Haha.

Oh and this is Dad's Birthday Cake. Looks Yummy!

Alright, now for my wii games picked up.
The two games i picked up are Okami and Wii Party.

I've waited for Wii Party for about four months. Since June, when it was announced, i'm all so excited about picking this game up. It's so damn fun! Yes i agree it's a lot similar to Mario Party 8, just that instead of using the mario characters, you use your mii's in Wii Party which is awesome!

I personally think Wii Party is hell lot better than Mario Party 8. Firstly it's because of the game mode. In Wii Party, other than the board game, there are other modes like swap meet, bingo, and a lot others. I like the House Party. Haha we played it together on Dad's birthday and had a lot of fun. Haha.

Okami is rather a last minute decision. I'm just desperate for Wii Games.. some single player adventure game. I wanted to pick up Zelda but don't seem to find it anywhere. Checked up on Okami and realized it's somewhat similar to Zelda. Read reviews, watched gameplay and decided to pick up this game.

Did not regret on purchasing this game. It's friggin awesome! Played it for hours and hours. Fun filled adventure combine with combats. Strongly recommend this game.

Just realize i've been really active with my blog :) which is really good!
Guess it's because it's a place where i get store all my precious memories that happened in my everyday life. Haha.

Chelsea Top Table with 5 points to spare. Ivanovic Saves the Day.

Hey guys. Yes, you're right, this post is basically just an update of The Blues.
I realized it has been sometime since i review on any soccer match i'd watched.
To start off, i'll talk a bit on Yesterday's Chelsea VS Blackburn match.

"Come on, it's Blackburn, should be an easy win..." That's what i thought.
Last season Chelsea trashed them 5 - 0 and yesterday, the match ended with Chelsea 2 Blackburn 1. I must say Blackburn played really well. Benjani was doing great, shooting all over the place.

Chelsea were a bit off during the first half. Malouda wasn't himself that day. Instead, i think it was Zhirkov who deserved to be praised. He's doing really well. It's really rare to see Zhirkov start the match. Because of Lampard's and Ramires's injury, we get to see Zhirkov start.
Great passes and assists. Speaking of performance, Cech is superb! Though he let in one goal, throughout the match, he made lots of saves. Not just this match but others too.

Goals were scored by Anelka and Ivanovic.
It was a perfect header by Ivanovic, assists by Zhirkov.
Easy goal for Anelka, assists by Drogba.

I believe defence was the problem. Mainly in the Midfield. Lampard is doing fine and i suppose he will be playing the next match? He's an intelligent man. He is able to read the match so well and hence able to strengthen the defence. Hope he will play in the next match!

Alright and now for previous soccer updates.

If you'd been reading on Soccer news, there's rumors about him leaving Manchester United and joining other clubs like Manchester City and Chelsea. Seriously what is wrong with him.
To all ManUtd fans out there, fear not because he has signed a 5 year contract with ManUtd and he even claim to say Manchester United is where is belongs. Who knows if it's true.. I bet it is the money that he is interested.

I remembered it was on Sunday... Despite having school the next day, my brother and i stayed up to watch this exciting match. It's the big four! Come on.. you can't miss it.

The previous match. No problem with this match. Easy win.
Only problem would be.. Chelsea should score more. But that's ok, as long as they win. Hah.

Hey guys. As promised, i'll be sharing my overall results. Hmm... it's definitely below my expectations and as a result, i'm utterly disappointed. But still, at least i gave all that i can.
Here's something i found meaningful.

Total : 507/700
Percentage : 72.4
Class Position : 9/40
Level Position : 11/199
LIR4 Aggregate : 9
L1R5 Aggregate : 12

Surprisingly, our class did hell lot better then 3E1. If you take a look at the level position, the first eight were from my class. It's like, if you're the seventh in class, you are the seventh in level too. Mine's different. I believe the first person in 3E1 had gotten the 9th in level and second had gotten 10th.. which leaves me in the 11th position.

Seriously what the heck is going on with my Chinese. What the heck is going on with my English. What the heck is going with my Elementary Mathematics. What the heck is wrong with me!
I expected at least an A2 for my English, A1 for Chinese, A1 for Elementary Mathematics. Only when i'd achieve these grades then will i be able to say my expectation is met.

The Addtional Mathematics paper isn't hard and i could have easily scored 70 over. What can i say? I'm just so so so careless! I scored 65 for A maths and if i had checked thourougly, i would have gotten what i wanted...

I really have to thank my family for giving me the encouragement and support. Because of them, i want to give all that i can and make them happy.

Yes i know it's no use complaining now since it's already over. Well, let's just say i'll promise to work even harder next year and for o levels, i aim to achieve 9 points and below for L1R4. As for L1R5, I aim to achieve 10 points and below.

Alright, i'm all set for the LEAP programme and i hope to make use of the holidays to revise through my subjects so as to be better prepared for next year. I'm afriad i won't have the time to play next year :( and that my wii will be sitting there collecting dust. Let's just hope thats not the case. But then again, it's the holidays! so, of course i'll play real hard.

Looking at my schedule, i'm beginning to wonder if i would really be enjoying my holidays.
Flipped open my book and all i can see is the word "Band Practice" Oh well, just have to accept the fact.

Dad's birthday is arriving and i should go get him something.
Hooray, KFC porridge tomorrow. Thanks to my parents.

Hey guys. Time flies, this is the 300th post. Nah i'm not going to change the template like what i did to sort of celebrate my 200th post. This is the best template i've ever seen so i'll continue using it. I have a lot to say today.

I could still remember me writing about how tough secondary three life is going to be.
Looking back at my previous posts, i guess i was right.
It is indeed tough, tougher than i thought. But no, it's too early to say that.
Will be taking my O'levels next year and apparently, i'm back to the PSLE period.
Life in secondary school has been so far so good.. i suppose..

Oh and i'll be receiving my report book tomorrow! Wait a sec, the "!" may mean two things. Either i'm excited or nervous. Well, i would say both. Mixed feelings you see..
Okay, i think it would be better if i stop talking on this topic here because if i go on, i won't be able to stop. I have too much to say!

Putting aside school stuffs, let's talk about games shall we?
The last wii game i bought was during the june holidays, excluding new super mario bros, which was a gift from my third sister. I'd plan on picking up some of the games. Titles like Kirby's Epic Yarn and Wii Party is a must. Then there's Resident Evil 4 and Zelda. Will be picking up Kirby's Epic yarn soon, this weekend i guess. I'll wait till mid November before i pick up Wii Party.

Before i end this post, i'm so glad i did some planning of my future, where i want to go and yea, all these.

Alright, that's pretty much all i want to say.

Semestral Assessment 2 Update

Hey guys. Oh well, what can I say? This week sucks to the core. Apparently, there was nothing much to do. Okay don't worry because I will stop the ranting here. This post is basically just to update my SA2 examination results.

I don't know how I should describe my entire preparation but all I can say is, it all paid off. I did well, I think.. but of course it could be better. I skipped school on wednesday and i totally regretted it. If i'd gone to school on wednesday, then i'll be able to know my overall results.... that means i have to wait till the last day of school when i receive my report book to know the results. Crap.

Okay anyway, shall share my thoughts on my SA2 results. I'm most happy with my humanities!
I scored 40/50 for social studies and 41/50 for geography. OMFG. I'm also pretty satisfied with my elementary maths paper 2 which i scored 78/100. It's one of my best result this year.

Of course, there are some subjects which i obviously could have done better.
First up would be Additional Mathematics. Yes, it's one of the subject that i'm kinda grappling with but i scored 65/100 which is a B3. I looked through the paper and there are indeed lots of careless mistakes.. and it's always to same mistake.. + - sign. Could have done a lot better but still, i'm quite happy with it.

Next up would be chinese paper 1. What a disappointment. Scored 47/70 and bloody hell thanks to the composition... i thought i wrote well but .. arg. But hey, my chinese paper 2 cheered me up. Scored 62/70. This is the second time i scored 62.. Was satisfied.

Okay err what else. Chemistry and Physics.. yea, was er okay? Scored 62/85 for chemistry and 56/85 for physics. I'm happy for my physics but disappointed for chemistry. I really have to Thank Ms Sakinah for teaching us physics. Frankly speaking, i didn't do well for physics previously but it was when Ms Sakinah started teaching us then i see tremendous improvement in my physics. I Wouldn't say i did well for physics but at least there are some improvement. I believe i'll be scoring better as time goes by. Chemistry.. i don't know what the heck is going on out there. But the paper is much more difficult than in mid year so i'm glad i got above 60..

Principles of Accounts. Scored 81/100. I definitely could have scored higher. Argg General journal! It was one of my strongest section and i screwed it.. Not exactly screwed but sort of lost quite a number of marks here.

Okay so here's my SA2 examination update. I'll be updating my overall marks for this year when i receive my report book on the 29th of October, which is next Thursday. Till then.

Detective dee and the mystery of the phantom flame

Hey guys. Went to watch Detective Dee and the mystery of the phantom flame yesterday.
Didn't really catch my attention because well.. it's in chinese. Wait! I'm not being biased.. i mean, i love the curse of the golden flower ...

But after the compliments from my sister for this movie and the reviews, i totally agree that this is a must watch. If you're really wondering what the heck is this movie all about, i'll simply say it's Sherlock Holmes but in chinese. Yea thats what the word detective is all about. So did you change your mind about this movie?

Detective Dee is Andy Lau. He received a mission from the empress in which he is to crack the mystery case of. yea the phantom flame.. What happen was that some people living in this big Buddha building was killed. No not literally killed but more like suicide. Their body was burned into black charcoal all of a sudden and it's from the inside of the body that the flame starts burning. Of course, the people were puzzled and live in fear that they might be the next victim.

Okay to cut the story short, basically, detective dee went around searching for clues and tries to link every possible clues together and i'm telling you, when you hear his analysis and conclusion, you will go like, "oh ya... why didn't i think of that" This shows how pro he is. Haha

These three person plays an important role in the movie. The guy with the white/yellowish hair is the one that contributes significantly to the mystery case. He found something (shall not say) that is the key to the case but unfortunately, someone killed him by letting him burn into flames just like what had happened.

But before he was literally burned, he struggles to force out some clues for detective dee to find that key clue. Detective dee manage to find that key clue that he guy found with the help of the clues that he gave. And that helped dee solved the case.

All in all, i must say this is a must watch movie for the weekend. Rating it 4.2/5

Pertinacious? It just meant persistent. So, the end of year examination is over!
The journey of my entire secondary three school life is sure a stressful one. I bet Sec four would be tougher. Alright... shouldn't be thinking of that right now, i should be playing hard right now!

If you'd asked me how was the exam, i would simply reply by saying "If you had studied and prepared well for the paper, you will do well" There's no doubt about that.
One very good example would be my elementary maths.
Paper 2 was dang easy and so i thought paper 1 would be as easy. It turns out that i could have done even better for paper 1 if i had not underestimated the paper. Lots of similar questions and dang, i just forgot. But overall, i think it's still okay.

Alright, and now the evaluation of each subject.

English Language : Situational writing suck!
Chinese Language : Was alright
Maths : Paper 2 rocks, paper 1 not so much
Additional maths : Rocks but graph suck.
Chemistry : Race against time paper but was alright
Physics : Did hell lot better than mid year
Social Studies :Was good.
Geography :A "Tyco" paper because i only studied coasts and not rivers. Surprisingly, i found coasts way easier than rivers. Tyco!
Principals of Accounts : Great! Manage to balance it.

And that concludes my End of year examination evaluation.
Oh wait before i end this post, I would like to say
Exams in hall isn't as great as i thought. Dang, i was sweating like hell and ms tay sucks, seriously.

Hey guys. I've been wanting to blog about this but didn't had the time to so i'm using this weekend to blog about it. You must be wondering, "what on earth is the card you're talking about?"

It's difficult to describe in detail so let the pictures do the talking for me.

It's a ChelseaFC card. My third sister bought it for me and she also bought herself a Manchester United card. It looks awesome too!

Basically, it's a pop up thing. You open the card and the stadium pops up! It's Stamford bridge and yes it does really looked like it. The Manchester United card looks nice too. Perhaps you can go check out my third sister's blog, maybe she'd posted it up.

Supper @ Rochor Original Beancurd

We didn't plan. It all happened suddenly. My sister told us that she just got her pay and she's craving for the rochor tauhuay. Then she asked Daren and I if we wanted to head down to Rochor to have the beancurd and almost immediately, Daren agreed.

It was around midnight so i had second thoughts about it but did go in the end. Well, it was a relief when i realized that the Hungry Ghost Festival was over. Phew.

Okay so we began preparing and off we go. In a way, speaking softly and not shuffling our feet made me feel as if we're sneaking out of the house, which is of course not!
Ok anyway, we cabbed down and reached.
Damn! it was crowded with people.

We ordered 3 beancurd, 3 you tiao and uhm i think it's called butterfly fritters.
I initially thought it was not enough but ended up wasting food.
Highly recommend this.

Yes i know it has been sometime since I updated my blog. Um, it's the September holiday now and yea, trying to make full use of it. I'm throwing myself into books and some do really make me sit there for hours reading it.

I wonder whats wrong with the internet. Is it me or is it the website. I can't get into the apple site.
Steve Jobs rules! He hasn't stop coming out with improved gadgets. Now with the improved version of ipod touch and the most recent one ipod nano touch. Frankly speaking, i was like what the fook when i saw the ipod nano touch. I should've waited and not get my hands on the ipod nano 5th gen. Seriously! It sure do look cool to me. Dang!

Chelsea Dominated. Once again, 6 - 0

Hey guys. Of course, Chelsea dominated again with another 6! What a terrific start for the blues!
I was quite nervous actually for the first half because for some reason, Chelsea didn't seem to be performing well. It was Wigan who was controlling the first half.

Having said so, Chelsea dominated and controlled the second half scoring 5 goals in total!
Thanks to the great assistants by Drogba and not forgetting Lampard.
Goals were scored by Malouda, Anelka two times, Kalou two times and Benayoun.
Beneyoun nets in his first goal for Chelsea making it 6!

What a great way to celebrate. Haha Drogba sure gets the credit for the great assistance.

Hey guys. Yep, guess you would already know what this post is all about.
Yesterday marks a very important day. Other than the Opening of the Youth Olympic Games held right in our country, it is also the start of the English Premier League.

Well of course it's another unpredictable season.
Mani said that West Brom would win this match but apparently, he was totally wrong.
The Blues put up a great and stunning performance. It's just like how they played when they played against Wigan trashing them.

With Drogba scoring 3 goals, Malouda 2 goals and Lampard 1 goal, Chelsea moved straight up to top the league. It's surely a great start!

I can't wait to get hold of the new 10/11 home kit! The Third kit looks really good too.

YOG Soccer @ Jalan Besar Stadium

Hey guys. I was at the Jalan Besar Stadium yesterday for the YOG Soccer match.

Watched two matches in total. First match was Vanuatu VS Bolivia and the Second Match was Singapore VS Zimbabwe. Obviously i enjoyed the Singapore match the most because the crowd was simply enthusiastic!

Who has the best 10/11 Home Kit?

The New season is about to start and here we look at their 10/11 home kits.

Let's just focus on the big 4.

I've compiled all of them together and there's something in common.
Yes, they have this common colour - red.

Chelsea do have it. It's on the collar!
Thats a new colour they've introduced to the home kit and i personally think it's stunning.

This red colour is the homage to the club’s historical association with the Chelsea Pensioners.
The breast plates are gone which adorn the current kit in favour of a simpler or ‘Retro’ style.
I've yet to try it but will definitely head down to a sports shop to get it.

When it comes to Manchester United Kit, i don't know what to say.
The kit is a ‘Retro” design which throws them back to 1980s design.
If you'd notice, they'd changed AIG to AON which is total weirdness. Bad design.
I feel so sorry for the ManUtd fans.

Arsenal kits has been quite similar all along. Everything is about the same but there's something interesting in their kits.

They are made from recycled polyester, crafted from eight plastic water bottles diverted from landfills to be used in the manufacturing process.

Well as for Liverpool, of course, no more Carlseberg, it's Standard Chartened now.
Looks weird but i believe it will be alright for the fans after they are familiar with it.
The new Liverpool kit has been designed according the one they wore in 1990 when they last won the league.
Looks pretty alright, at least better than the ManUtd one.

So, let me rate the kits from the best to the worst.
It'll be Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United.

Hey guys. Yesterday was pretty fun. Had a mini party sort of thing?

Da jie and i prepared a couple of food for my family. Looks good huh. Well these are the food we prepared.

My Da jie prepared her famous Mashed Potato as seen in the picture above, the extreme left one. Then she also bought this biscuit with the Tuna spread, as seen in the picture on the right.
The picture below is my Roti john. Haha. If you could still remember, i learned it in my Home Ec lessons and it's surprising to say i can still remember the steps.
Okay the picture above is our desert. Yes, you got it right, it's chocolate fondue with fruits of course. It takes some time to melt the chocolate.

This is definitely a good idea if you want to cook or make something for your family. Combine all the dishes you know and make it into a small party like this. Awesome!

Hey guys. Bad bad week for me! First it was just a slight sore throat, and when i say slight, that means it's just the throat that hurts, no change in voice yet. Then the next day, no voice. My throat did'nt hurt that much though.

What do you think happened the next day? It has got something to do with my nose. Yes, had flu. It was pretty funny because i had band that day and because of my runny nose, for every bar i play, i do the noise when you want to get your mucus into your nose. It's kinda irritating for me. Haha. Okay next day, which is today, i began coughing. Not that bad actually but my voice isn't back yet. Still having sorethroat.

I dare to think of what's going to happen tomorrow. Fever or what? I hope everything ends here. No more sickness and voice please come back!! You know i'm such a talkative person and how much my voice means to me! Come on, be good and come back.

Pet Rocket Science @ ESSS

Hey guys. In school today, we had this Pet rocket science activity during our SFL period.

Hah, basically what we did was we actually create our own "Rocket" using a 500ml bottle. Then after adding in those essential equipments and also the customizing, it's done and is set to fly off!
Each pair would be given using one bottle. I teamed up with Meng Yin and here's our rocket.
Okay yea basically we were taped it all over the bottle which was kinda.. not suppose to but we don't care. Bottom two pictures you would see the cap and the cone thing. That's what was needed and oh not forgetting the wings. It's really simple and easy to make one.

I know we're all looking forward to the rockets flying off pictures but erm, well, i'll try looking for it on facebook. Hopefully someone posted it.

South Africa FIFA World Cup 2010 Champion : SPAIN. My thoughts on this World Cup.

It's Ok Holland. We know how much you wanted this but you have to admit the fact that Spain is the deserving one. Robben, you were great yesterday.

This 2010 Fifa world cup has been an unexpected one for me. Great teams like Italy, France and my England didn't even make it to the Quater Finals! Whereas underdogs like Ghana made it all the way to the Quater finals, making them the best team among the African countries.

Then just as everyone thought Brazil will once again clinch the world cup, Holland knocked them out with Sneijder dominating the match. We have Suraez, from Uruguay, or maybe he is better known as the Hands of God. I love this world cup and i'm looking forward to the 2014 where it'll be held in Brazil.

As usual, slept at 11pm and woke up at 2.20am. Prepared and turn on the television.
Just the first 45mins there were already 5 yellow cards given. Second half didn't get any better, 4 more yellow cards were shown and still no goals.

Lots of chances for Spain and Villa could have netted in one ! Finally a red card was shown to Heitinga at the extra time. Then at the final moment, the 116th minute, One of the best player in the world, Andreas Iniesta scored! I'm of course going for Spain but my brother is going for Holland. So it's pretty exciting as you can see.

When Iniesta scored, he took off his shirt and pay attention to the words written.
Yes i'm sure you do not understand unless you're spanish. But here's what it is written in English.
"Dani Jarque always with us"
Espanyol defender Jarque suffered a heart attack before a pre-season game in Italy in 2009. He never played club football with Iniesta, but they were the same age as they rose through the Spanish national team ranks.

Once again, Congratulations to Spain on winning their first ever world cup. It is no doubt that they deserve it and i'm glad they've won it.

Wii Games and Accessories Pick ups.

Hey guys. My sister got me a wii game and also a Rayman raving rabbids remote charger.
This is a game i've been wanting to get. Yes, it's New Super Mario Bros. $69 and it is really fun. Played it with my brother and we sat there at playing for about 3 hours.

Some of the stages were really tough and we had a lot of quarreling. Quarreling as in " Hey i want the green yoshi" "Why you push me!" "Stop jumping on me!" Currently i have 8 games and i'm proud to say they are all good games. :)

It's a definite pick up if you're a Wii owner.

Here's the Rabbids charger. Looks pretty cool huh.
Oh and it isn't just any other ordinary charger. When it is charging, it's eyes will turn red. When it is not charging, it's eyes turns blue.

Yup, so there you have it. New Super Mario bros and the rayman raving rabbids charger.

FIFA 2010 World Cup Quick Thoughts

Hey guys. I thought i might give a quick post on what are my thoughts this World cup.
This World Cup is very unpredictable as you can see. Better teams like France and 2006 Champion Italy went out on the first stage.

As for the recent matches, England and Germany, i was really excited and at the same time in doubt whether England can pull it through. Looking back at their performance for the first stage, draws, draws and win. Wasn't really pleasing. The final whistle was blown and the next day England hits the headline and blah blah blah.. Oh well, blame it on the poor defending and shots.

It was 10pm just now and it was Brazil VS Netherlands. I'd just finish watching the match and guess what, the Samba boys are out. Brazil going out at this stage? You must be kidding me. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's newspaper and Atikah's expression. I thought Brazil is going to make it through this stage pretty easily.. Unpredictable.. yeah.

Alright will stop here. Tomorrow Argentina VS Germany. It's a must watch match. Definitely.
And my 2 teams to be in the finals, Spain and Netherlands.

Wassup! I'm Back from Korea.

Hey guys. I'm back from Korea. Reached Singapore yesterday at about 9.30pm. Reached home and got everything settled at midnight 12am. I have so many so many things to say about this trip!

Okay i'm almost done with the pictures. Just gimme a minute.
Well erm.. we brought 4 cameras so i will have to get some of the pictures from everyone of them and post it up here. But mean while, i shall just get the pictures from my dad's camera. Erm.. don't blame him for the poor pictures he took. Haha.

DAY 1
Well basically nothing much because our plane was at night so immediately when we reach korea, it is already morning, which is day 2 already.

DAY 2
And we landed at Incheon Airport. Weather was rather cooling there even though it's summer.. according to the tour guide.

First place we went to was the Land Of Morning Calm. It's a garden full of aroma of the flowers and scent of the trees. I was amazed. There's even those sort of refreshing music that calms you down. I guess that's why they name it Land Of morning calm.

Okay apparently, i have no idea what this means.

Yeah this place is really clean thanks to people like my brother. Haha.

Oh boy i sure do love korea but ... sad to say
i don't like kimchi! It's super duper spicy and i don't know what to say. It just doesn't suit me.

My Da jie and Er jie is different. They love kimchi.
Almost every meal we had this small amount of kimchi placed on your table as some sort of like a starter meal. Just like your appetizer.

Heard from them that there is a major diffference in the taste here in Korea and in Singapore.
Of course, Korea's kimchi taste better. If you're a Kimchi lover, then you got to visit korea.
It'll be like your paradise man!

After meal, we checked in at Lotte World Hotel. It's a 6 star hotel and it's definitely comfortable! The food is awesome. You can customize your own noodle soup. Just choose your type of noodle and the ingredients you want and give it to the chef. He will then add the soup and cook it for you. Love that!

We're up there! Dad manage to spot us and took a picture of us.

Well this is scary. No i didn't go in. There's this 2 "Ghost" Standing outside there and if you walk near him, he will yeah boo! at you. You know, it's really funny to see their reaction though. Haha.

This is the ticket. If you notice at the top, there's 12345. If you take one ride, they will punch the number one. If you take another ride, they will punch the second one. So if you have all your numbers punched, then too bad you cannot play anymore. Yeah i know it's little but guess what, we only played like 3 times and then we baleg kampong.

Okay let me explain briefly what the rides were and how was it alright?
Manage to grab some pictures on the web so you could have a better understanding of what i'm saying.

First ride was the hot air balloon thingy.

Second ride was the jungle adventure.
It was really fun! Hahha you sit in this round round boat and basically you just go in a cave and the boat will travel. Along the way, you'll see animals like monkey and stuffs. At first, i thought something was gonna touch me or fall upon me. Haa.
Oh and it's on water so water will be splashing in but not that much. It was really cooling! Love that haha.

OMFG it was actually roller coaster -,-We were like. Heyy that looks so fun. Let's go!
My Da jie, Daren and i are afraid of roller coaster so we were like, What the. But it was too late to back off. No choice but to continue. After the ride, i could hear my heart shouting SHIOK three times. Hahha. It was really fun.

We got back to our hotel at around 9 plus. Oh and the time difference is 1 hour ahead of Singapore time. That means, If the time now in Singapore is 9pm, it is actually 10pm in Korea.

Alright finally done with the pictures. Here you go! Well erm, we went to Everland in the morning till the afternoon. It was really fun there! It's a combination of Themepark and the Zoo.. quite interesting.

This one is so funny. Basically, you go in there and if you want to have lots and lots of birds on your hand, just talk to the man there and he will put.. erm.. not food.. but i think it's shit on your hand. I'm Serious. Heard from my sis that it smells and she thinks it's shit.

Official Opening of World Cup 2010

Hey guys. Yea, the world is crazy about world cup. Here's my prediction of the top 4 in no particular order. Brazil, Spain, England, Germany. They have good players in there and their manager is definitely doing their job.

I'm going for England. They have strong players like rooney, terry, gerrad, lampard, johnson and of course other star players.

Well, i'm indeed pissed off by the "bees"
They sound like one! Can't stand those vuvuzelas..

Their opening ceremony was awesome! Haha love their dances and performance.

Hey guys. Yes world cup is round the corner and we are all very excited! But let's not neglect some of the important occasions after World cup. National day!

Each year, my third sis will enter competitions and try to win some tickets. As usual, she did it this year. Singapore has been really kind this time round. Instead of just letting those Lucky ones win, they had some contests for you to win. Spot the difference contest. No its not easy. Not easy at all. I've been starring at the computer screen together with my sisters and no.. couldn't break the record of 3 second. -,-

My record was 9 sec and i'm not in the Hall of fame! In the 10th position is 7 sec.

Apparently, they are 2 different pictures. Tell me, how are we going to spot the difference? I would say the whole picture is different. Okay we win?

Movie Review : RobinHood

Hey guys. It has been a while since i watched any movies.. Recently, i think last two weeks, i went with my sister to catch the movie RobinHood.

I read those comments given to this movie and most of them gave 3/5. Most of them said it was too draggy which i absolutely agree. The first half of the movie left me puzzled. Why did it turn out this way? Why did he do that?

Having said so, i still think this movie deserve a 4/5 for it's exciting plot and the unexpected events. I love the fighting scene. I simply couldn't breath. It was too intense. My eyes were glued to the screen, never leaving it.

I thought Russell crowe did a great job. I like his acting. Previously i didn't know that the story of Robin Hood goes like this. Not the green guy with the green hat. People said that this is the untold story of Robin Hood. I am impressed by this movie. After watching Percy Jackson, i found myself having great interest into those mythology.

The best part of the movie was towards the end where the two opposing countries, England and France fought. That scene was never forgotten when i left the cinema. Good show, worth the watch.

Hey guys. Yes, you are right. Thats Love story by Taylor swift. One thing Band Hero caught the attention of us is by featuring 3 of Taylor Swift songs. Pictures to burn, you belong with me and not forgetting Love story.

Yesterday, we headed down to purchase our Band Hero bundle for the wii.

Oh and also an additional remote. Basically, i did some research and they said that each instrument has to be accompanied by one remote each. We only have 2 remotes and there are a total of 3 instruments, the drum, the guitar and the microphone. So yeah thats the reason why we had to get another remote.

Dad is strong. One bad thing about purchasing a bundle is that you got to carry it ALL THE WAY till you reach your car. Worse still, if you are taking a public transport. The thing is like so big and can you imagine walking down the street carrying that around? Dad lifted it up and walk without talking until he reached the car park and put it in the car boot. I guess it's heavy.

What was our reaction when we first step into the house with the bundle?

"WOOOO, LET'S ROCK!"

Apparently, we did not change out and just started assembling all the parts. Throwing all the wrapers around, making a mess. Result of too excited. Okay finally after around 20 mins everything was down. The Drums were hard to assemble though.

I like the instruments especially the drums. It is a new improvement drum as compared to rock band and guitar hero world tour.

There are 4 types of popular music games so far. Rock band, Guitar Hero, Band Hero and DJ Hero.

If you are caught in situation where you are not sure which to get, the first thing you have to look out for is the setlist, also known as Song list. The songs will determine whether that game suits you.

Rock band song's are those rock, metal kind. DUH. (from the name ROCK band)

Band Hero is pretty much more different. It's more of pop music than Rock music.

So if you're those ROCKERS, then go for Rock band

If you like listening to pop music, R and B, Go for Band Hero.

One thing i'm dissapointed is that there isn't a variety of songs for you to choose from and you need to pay 200 wii points to download a song from the shop!

Nevertheless, Band hero is still a great game especially when you are playing with your family or friends. It makes a huge difference!

It's a really late post because of exams. Now that the exams is over, i am free to do whatever i want! This year's Mother's Day was different. Instead of just going out and have a sumptious dinner, we had Buffet at home.

Thanks to Da Jie for the idea and for paying for the buffet, mum was delighted.
We had a great time together at home. Alright now whats missing. Pictures, right.

Double Double Double Champion! Both FA Cup and Premier League champion!

Congratulations blues! It was a heart warming moment to see Chelsea clinched their first ever double. The final showdown was against Portsmouth.

I believed Portsmouth has played their very best. Their goalkeeper, David James did a good job.

I don't know what to say about that match. It is an Unlucky or Lucky day for the Chels?
Unlucky because the first five shots hit the post and reflect off. Drogba even banged his hand against the post with raged. You could see how angry and pissed off he was.

Kalou was playing badly. So bad that Ancelotti had to sub him off. There is one shot that he could easily score but he just gave that off, sending the ball high up in the sky.

Lampard missed a penalty. Could see that he was under a lot of pressure. Boateng's shot was worse. It was the only chance that they could Equalised the score. Cech saved it without any problem.

Chelsea Wins the title again

The English Premier League this season has come to an end.

The Blues definitely deserve the title.The last match, which is against Wigan proves it all.

The match was on Sunday and that means i have school the next day. To make matter worse, i am having my exams that day. I had a hard time deciding whether i should watch it or not.
The final result? I decided to stay up late till 1am and finish the match.
I'm glad i did because it was such a joyous occasion! I'm high the next morning!

From the moment Kalou net in the third goal, i was sure that Chelsea's gonna win the title.
It's pretty obvious who is the deserving winner.

Hey guys. My school will be having speech day this coming Friday, the 16th of April.
Great, we are wearing our Band uniform, hate the socks though!
Will be playing at the same place, the carpark near the foyer. Same as last year i think.

Oh and anyway, i'm sure all of you enjoyed the NCDCC dance right?
I enjoyed their dance! So well coordinated and everyone was very sharp! Music was cool too!

Hey guys. Haven't been really updating because of the busy schedule.
Today was rather an achievement for me.
I've completed all my homework and my revision for Chemistry and Geography.

But there's just this assignment which i think i will do it at the last minute.
Yes, it's the English Podcast. You have to read a passage and at the same time record it down.
After recording,you have to post it onto Asknlearn for EVERYBODY to comment on?
Great, i will do it tomorrow.

Exams are approaching and i would feel awkward if i were to sit in front the computer the whole day without doing any revision. It's best to start revision early so that you don't procrastinate when the time comes. Procrastinating isn't awesome okay.

Clash of the titans today. Top 2 teams playing against each other.
To make the match even more exciting and breathtaking, whoever wins the match will top the list. The match ended with Chelsea 2, Manchester United 1.

I think the referee has myopia or something.
There are clear handballs, offsides and penalty. Though the referee's decision was kinda frustrating, we won in the end so it's okay actually.

First let's take a look at the team line up.
You may wonder why Drogba's at the bench. He's at the bench most probably because he had a minor injury on his calf and to play safe, Ancelotti decides to sub him at a later time to allow him to rest. Good decision made there.

Chelsea had the lead. It was Joe Cole who scores this time round which the help of Malouda.
Malouda has been doing great isn't he? He won the match of the match too.

Second goal was by Drogba right after the moment he was sub in.
However, it was a clear off side. Everyone could see it clearly.
As i've said earlier, the referee has some sort of myopia so yeah, he didn't catch it.

Some key person to discuss here.
Joe Cole, Malouda, Anelka and Drogba.

Joe Cole was excellent when he's on the field. Always at the right place and tries to create chances. His first goal shows it all.
Malouda has been great. He has been consistently creating chances. That goes without saying.
Anelka wasn't in his best shape today. Miss quite a number of goals. There was one part when he could just simply score as he has that amount of free space. But he just gave it away.
Drogba did well today as usual. He has kept the pressurizing pressure on the uniteds.

What about the United?
I've been monitoring their performance.
The outstanding four are as follows.

Berbertov, Neville, Nani and Evra.
I'm sure all the ManUtd fans will put their hopes on Berbertov since there is no Rooney.
He has been doing fine, but either he was at the wrong place or he missed that opportunity.
Unlucky day for the United.

Neville had did a lot of fouls. Could see his rage from his moves.
Nani was the character i feared most. Remember the flip when he scores?
Well, thinking of that sends a tingle electricity down my spine.
Evra has been the one attempting to shoot. Good effort but oh well, just unlucky.

Apart from the ones i mentioned, i wonder whats wrong with Franky today.
He seems to be boiling hot today.
Pushes opponent, sliding the opponent, all his actions are very rough.

Return of the Magnificent Seven.

Hey guys. It was Chelsea VS Aston Villa yesteday. From the title of this post, you would most probably guessed what was the score. Yup, it's Chelsea 7, Villa 1.
The match was aired at 11pm, good time to watch soccer. Not too late and not too early.
Arsenal drawed, which is a good thing and Manchester United will be up against Chelsea next match.

With the magnificent seven, i am sure and confident that Chelsea will win Manchester United.
Alright, let me give a review on the match yesteday.

First Goal. Lampard's slides it in effortlessly.
Easy Goal.

Lampard went on to score another 3 goals of which two of them are one to one penalty.
He scored in at the very last minute and the match ended with much joy!

Lampard, who scored four goals individually, won the man of the match title.
The other 3 goals were scored by Malouda and Kalou.

Malouda's performance has improved tremendously!
He has elevated from being a "nobody" to what he is now, a star player.
He scored two goals individually.

There were two "one to one" penalties given to Chelsea.
Apparently, i think the Villas hate Zhirkov beacause he was always the one who got slide while attempting to shoot. Lampard took on the penalty and scores. That goes without saying right. Hahaa.

Yup and thats about all. Oh and if you would have noticed, Drogba wasn't playing.
I heard he had a minor injury on his calf and it would be best if he rest and prepare for the match against Manchester United.

Of course, you would see the worry look on the Chelsea fans out there.
Anelka wasn't at his best definitely. It must have been sometime since he played.

Next match is a BIG one. I repeat, BIG one, really BIG one.
ChelseaFC VS Manchester United.
Whoever wins will proceed up the table.

Hey guys. East Spring Secondary school, had it's sports day. This is my very first sports day in ESSS since i entered the school. You would ask me how was it. I tell you, it's bloody damn lame.

First of all, it was raining cats and dogs and apparently, we could do nothing but sat there and hope for the rain to stop. It was so so so boring that i have an urge to rush out there and go home.
Why must it be raining at this time.

Hey guys. The match against Blackburn was a total disappointment man. A Draw? Should that even happen in this kind of match?

I waited up to 12am yesterday night just because of the match.
But then, there seemed to be an angel and a devil around me. One is on my left and one is on my right. The angel was telling me to sleep as it was really late and that i have school tomorrow.
The devil obviously said the opposite. He told me to continue watching the match. It won't kill.

Lols and with that, guess who did i listened to?
I listened to the Angel. Went to sleep and 12am and missed the match. I'm glad i did that!
If i had watched the match, dang oh dang i'm not gonna be feeling well.
Draw? Draw? Draw? Wassup Chels!

Nevertheless, I believe Chelsea will be back taking the lead and win both the EPL and FA Cup.

Cech, The Blues need you!

Hey guys. Tomorrow's another Chelsea match. This match is definitely gonna be an important one. I mean the rest of the remaining 9 games ARE equally as important.
Arsenal and Manchester United are threatening and pressurizing us in a way and we cannot give in to them.

Blackburn should be a piece of cake to the blues but it is still important that they play well.
The Chels will need their first choice goalkeeper! - Cech.

He should be able to play in the match against Blackburn tomorrow if he has recovered from his calf injury. Most probably yes, he will be playing and thats great.

Hey guys. It's been a while since i blogged.
Apparently, there's nothing to blog about but yeah, still decided to blog.

March Holidays is coming to an end and soon my life's gonna be a whole lot stresser.
For the past one week, i've been at home enjoying myself by occupying the computer and television the whole day. Oh wait, did i just say for the past one week? Let me take back my words. For the past one week, perhaps the first few days, i've been busy with my assignments.

Manage to complete about half of it on the first day, which i was pretty amazed by it.
Next two days were spent on the more difficult assignments, those that need research and more thinking like Maths.

Okay right so tomorrow's gonna be the "last" day i can enjoy myself before school start.
Right till here then.

Now i'm waiting for the next holiday. When will it be?

Building up confidence in Malouda

Hey guys. Yesterday night was another exciting soccer match.
Chelsea was up against West Ham at Stamford Bridge.

Malouda was the man of the match. Chelsea would not have won if it was not him.
He was the one who consistently create chances.

His performance are always going up and down.
Sometimes performing excellently, sometimes badly.
Yesterday's match must be the most remarkable one for him.

First half was intense. Chelsea took the lead.
Alex's Strong and powerful header send the ball right into the net.

Alex just came popping out from nowhere and there he goes.
What a nice jump from him.

Chelsea was playing without their first choice goalkeeper and second choice goalkeeper.
Who was it then who was playing? It's Ross Turnbull, Chelsea's third choice goalkeeper.
Cech and Hilario were both injured.
Cech would most likely be back next week after a one month rest.

It was the first match appearance of Turnbull and was it a good one or bad one for him?
He didn't had much to do for the hammer's did not have a slight chance to even
try to shoot.

But Hammer's number 8 player, Parker, shot in a magnificent one.
That shot, i tell you, if you call upon the best goalkeeper, i doubt it can be saved.
That ball was sent right to the extreme top right. Furthermore, it was a fast ball.
Unless the goalkeeper is super tall, he would be able to save it.

Half time and the score was 1 - 1

Following Alex's goal, it was Drogba and Malouda.
Drogba was performing well, just like all the other matches he had played.
He is the key player you would say..

At the 56th minute and as well as the 90th minute, Drogba finally manage to break through the defenders and score. I've already expected him to score at least a goal.

Malouda definitely deserevs the title of "Man of the match"
Excellent play by him.

Well i was actually kinda pissed off by the jeering. Terry gets the ball and there goes the booing.
It must have been hard on him.

Oh and there was a funny part on him.
While he was trying to get the ball, he slipped. It was like so damn funny.
Hahaaa.

Hey guys. As i was saying, time flies. In a twinkling of an eye, look, it's the March holidays!
Aren't you just glad? Wait a second. Yeah right homework..

Was reading blogs of other people and they all seemed to be complaining about the homework given by the teachers.

I thought it was pretty alright. Anyway, March holiday is a short one so i foresee i would not be enjoying myself but instead seizing this opportunity to work even harder.

Gosh i have to admit that Geography homework was kinda redundant.
Studying about Bangladesh? Come on. Anyway, for the sake of knowledge, yes we have to do it!

Continual Assessment Report

Hey guys. Alright so it's almost the end of term 1 and we got back out CA1 results.
Want to know my reaction? SHIT IT DAMN IT man!

Notice the red circles. There's nothing wrong with my Chemistry. I'm doing fine, or should i say PERFECTLY fine. If it isn't combine, i would probably get an A1 for chemistry. Okay okay, modest modest. But hey, thats a fact man!

Anyway, Physics is where it went wrong. Got an F9 for physics. Luckily, i did well for chemistry and as a result, manage to pull up my grade to at least a pass. I know i shouldn't be blaming the teacher for that, but i did in fact studied hard for the test and this is what i got?
The questions that came out were as if they were total strangers! Did not come across this question and hence did not know how to do.

Alright let's put this bloody physics aside. I'm definitely pleased with my English.
Oh and for humanities, totally suck. No problem with my social studies. Problem lies in Geography. It's not that i didn't know how to do.

Okay here's the situation.
My teacher told the class that there will be a test on Chapter "B" and i studied real hard for it.
On the day itself, 4 out of 6 questions were on Chapter "A", which we had been tested a few weeks ago. My blood boils when she said " You all have been tested so you all should know how to do it" How do you expect me to remember Chapter A when i studied so hard for my chapter B. Well, the teacher could have told us that chapter A would be tested as well but she didn't.
Was fucked up with her, i mean seriously.

As for that, my first social test 20/20 and second social study test, 16/20 had gone down the drain.

I'm so gonna work hard for my Semestral Assessment 1.

Son of Poseidon : Percy Jackson

Hey guys. By now, you guys must have already started watching Alice in the wonderland but for me, i went to watch Percy Jackson only yesterday.

How would it be if you were the son of god? For Percy, he was the son of Poseidon, which means his Dad was the god of Poseidon. God of the sea to be exact. So basically, you would expect to see how the water helped him along the way.

I was taken aback. I mean totally. It was Superb! Totally love it. The storyline was almost perfect. Watching from this scene to that scene wouldn't leave you with questions. It's just too perfect. You know exactly why this has happen.

If you'd ask me to rate this movie, take it all man! 10/10

I especially like the part whereby they went searching for the 3 pearls.
The Medusa and the Lotus Casino = definitely my favourite.

Thats Medusa. She looks scary isn't it. I mean the "Snaky" hair that she has.
Just like the ancient greek myth, looking into her eyes will turn you into a rock statue.
I actually covered my eyes!

Though it's kinda scary, it's the joke of movie too. Her head got sliced off!

Well, this movie kinda sets me in becoming more interested in the ancient greek gods.
Like God of Poseidon, God of Wisdom and strategies, God of the underworld, God of Hermes.

This is definitely a remarkable movie. It is worth watching.

* Did you watch the very last part? The one after all the credits? Well if you didn't, basically they showed Percy's Stepfather returning to his house. He wanted to get some beer so he walked towards the fridge and he saw a note Percy wrote. Can't really remember what it says but it's just "Do not open the fridge or..."something something something. Of course the Stepfather did not obey and breaks open the lock. Guess what? Medusa's head was inside and tadaa, his stepfather was turned into a statue!

The Week's Vacation

Hey guys. As all of you know, the day we have been waiting for is nearer to us now!
Look at the calender or your diary and tell me how many more days.
Yup, just another 8 more days and we're off to enjoy our march holiday!
Though it's just a short 1 week vacation, it's better than nothing. We definitely need this vacation as you can tell from our faces.

However, that dosen't mean we can have the whole of the vacation all to us.
I've long guessed that we will be called back to school for certain activities.
My instinct was right. There's this eCIP thing and we have to pick up litter at Pasir Ris park together with 3E1. This activity was quite alright for me, but for goodness sake, it's held in the morning! Morning my dear.... can't wake up. Oh well..

I wonder if there's band practice but i suppose there is. Wednesday and friday i think.. Oh gosh, there goes my holiday.

Alright enough of that and let me now share with you what has happened today in school.
Well, nothing much but the bloody dang SFL held back the time till 3.15pm
We had Speech and Drama during SFL. Whats that? From the name of the activity, you should more or less get it. Basically for today, we had a lesson on presentation skills which i DO NOT think helped me at all. Oops.

English was cool? Got back our narrative essay and wow, 25/30. Greatest improvement and one of the top scorer as well. Received a hello panda from teacher. Cool.

Hmm alright i think i shall end here as i think i would continue crapping so... ya, till here.

John Terry VS Wayne Bridge

It must have been a tough day for the Chels yesterday at Stamford bridge.
Stress was what the players felt. But who else can be stress-er?
To Terry, it was a heart aching moment.

To him, the obstacle he has to go through wasn't just defeating ManCity alone.
The true obstacle was himself.
Bridge has been giving him cold shoulder since the day the big headline was out.
Playing against him was a big problem.

Yesterday's match against ManCity was a disappointment to me.

Cech was injured at the match against Inter Milan and hence, could not make it for the match against ManCity. Hilario took over and i believe he has the potential to perform well. However, i felt he wasn't really giving his best. Many goals could be saved but he failed.

The first goal scored by Lampard had gone to waste. It was a great shot from him.
Fast and powerful sending the ball straight to the net.

It was joyous moment as you could see him jumping to the crowd.
However, his effort was wasted.

Just before half time, Tevez, after receiving the ball from far, managed to breakthrough the defenders, which include Ivanovic, Terry and Mikel.

The ball could be saved easily as it wasn't fast. But just somehow, Hilario let it pass...

Second half was even thrilling. 2 RED Cards shown to Belletti and Ballack each.
As a result, ManCity gets a penalty.

Penalties are tough for the goalkeepers. So far, the only goalkeeper i have seen, who has manage to save penalties is Cech.

A Fight nearly begun. Oh my god. Wonder whats wrong with Tevez.
All Terry did was to defend him, thats all.

Lampard manage to score another goal at the 90th minute, making the score 2 - 4.

It was a disappointing day at Stamford bridge.

P.S : I nearly burnt my whole kitchen down. It was rather stupid of me... -,-

Say Byebye to Term 1

Hey guys. Hasn't really been blogging about my life and yeah .. just hasn't got anything to blog.

Well let's start off with school.
This whole week has been boring for me. One thing that made me glad was that all the test has finally come to an end. Oh wait, there's a English comprehension test coming up next week.
Don't worry because there's particularly nothing at all to study, just how to answer them.

I think i'm gonna flung my Physics. Please tell me i won't.
Argg speaking of physics makes my blood boil. I would really like a change in the teacher.
Anyway, for physics, you have to study on your own. No use complaining.

P.E was fun. I was in floorball and oh boy, it's amazingly fun!
Except for the part where i got hit on the legs by the sticks.

Principals of Accounts was okay i guess. Surprisingly, i enjoyed friday's lesson.
The notes which our teacher gave us clarified some of my doubts and i think i gained more confident in this subject somehow.

Had band on Wednesday and Friday. Was okay, not much scoldings. Played Captains ball orgainsed by the clarinet section on Wednesday. Wasn't really well planned, same old thing.
Holy great! Received the piece "Yesterday" by the beatles yesterday.
The song goes like, "yesterday, all my troubles seem so far away" yeah i'm sure you get it.

Had a great time chatting about soccer with Atikah.
Had a great time playing table tennis with Cailing. ( Table Badminton )
Had a great time chatting about wii games with Denise.

Chelsea Vs Man City today at 8.45pm

Hey guys. Chelsea was up against the Wolves yesterday at Wolverhampton's homeground.
I was at my Cousin's house at that time and i was having so much fun that i forgot all about the match! It was when i saw one of my uncle watching the Arsenal match then i realised that there's a Chelsea match going on. Yup, so we proceed to his room and watch the Chelsea match.

However, i only managed to watch the second half. Drogba was the man of the match.
The two magnificent goals were scored by him alone!
40th minute and 67th minute respectively.

I'm not really sure about the first goal but i believe it was a great pass from Ballack to Drogba.

Second goal. The goalkeeper is a bit stupid to run out of the area. But still, when you see a ball about to approach you, the first reaction would be "GO GET IT!"

Drogba's a striker, a real good striker. He must have been trained on how to void the goalkeeper.
The two defenders there were completely useless.. One should stand near the goal post while the other try to defend him... Anyway, it doesn't matter because We won!

About the team news. I was surprised by the formation Ancelotti came up with.
There's quite a number of injuries.
Lampard was down with some sort of virus. Get well soon.. would like to see him play.
Alex, Deco, Joe Cole, Bosingwa and Belletti were down with Knee Injury. Get well soon.
Ashely cole down with Foot injury and Essien is down with Knee Ligament injury. Get well soon.

Really new formation. Ferreira pairing up with Ivanovic and Terry.

Great! We have now 4 points difference.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Hey guys. It's been quite a while since i blogged. Wanted to blog about Chinese new year but didn't had the time to. I'm about to leave for my Auntie's house to well, bai nian of course. While waiting, let me just show you the preparation stuffs my family had prepared for the Chinese new year.

Once again, we got the Lion dance to perform the dance right outside our house. Oh wait, in and outside our house. Erm, you should be able to find the pictures on facebook? I suppose my 3 elder sister posted it up already? or not?

Anyway, we had some decorations to our room too.

A Visit to my Primary school

Hey guys! We had a Chinese new year celebration today in school.

It's pretty lame because we only attended PE lesson and then we were off for the rehearsal.

Changing from Uniform to PE and then to our Band T and jeans can be really troublesome.
In our Yellow band T and black jeans, we performed for the school.

After the whole celebration, which ends around 12.45pm, i rushed to meet Yeening at the Community Center. After meeting her, we strolled to a school, which holds many important memories to me. It was a school that groomed me into who i am today.
Yes, it's my primary school.

Looking back, there are just too many things i missed out. Things i regretted doing and not doing.
I miss those days where we play catching, ice and water in the parade square.
I miss the colourful PE shirts we wore on pe lessons.
I miss the beautifully decorated classrooms, furnitures and those caring and thoughtful teachers.

The place hasn't seemed to change. Okay wait, maybe a little.
Watching the performances, seeing my past, those small little kids with their ignorant face, some naughty yet polite and the familiar faces is making my memories flood once again on my mind.

It is surely an enjoyable day spending the time, although it's only a couple of hours at a place which holds many of my childhood memories.

I love Yumin primary.

P.S : My room is filled with Chelsea's stuffs.

Happy Birthday to me! I am now officially 15 and what else do i have to say? I have grown one year OLDER! Is it a good thing or a bad thing?

Well you may wonder what the hell has thing picture gotta do with my Birthday?
Look carefully and you'll realise that it is actually a piece of cake!
There's a sunflower and a Shin Chan a.k.a La pi xiao xin. I brought it home and when i opened it, his face was smashed against the cake. Poor thing.
This piece of cake here were given by my friends! Haha thank you thank you all!

Not only did i receive Happy Birthday's in class, it's on facebook too.
Once again, thank you all for the wishing me a happy birthday.

Shopping for CNY clothings @ VIVO

Hey guys. Like i said on the previous post, i went to shop for Chinese New year clothings at Vivo city yesterday. It was a tiring yet enjoyable day out.

From TopShop to GAP to Pull and bear to Armani Exchange to Tommy Hilfigur to Forever 21 and to a lot other top designer shops.
In the end, i manage to buy 1 top, 1 cardigan and a pair of shoes.

Okay hmmm it's pretty pathetic to shop for hours and hours and in the end only manage to get these stuffs. I totally love them all. It's just the style i'm looking out for. Great.

Something hilarious happened that day. Daren's slippers broke half way while alighting the MRT.
Lol and he was like dragging all the way until we reach New Urban male to his glow in the dark slippers. It's pretty cool.

Alright so we shop and shop and shop until 4.10pm. We began shopping at about 12.30pm so you can imagine how long we took.

Dad and mum came to fetch us and dad drove us to have our lunch
@ Lim Seng Lee Duck rice eating house.
You may or may not have heard of it, but i tell you, it is famous in Singapore.
One of the best duck rice stall in the whole of Singapore.

Their Duck rice is Superb! I felt as if i'm in heaven when i first tasted the duck. it's amazing!

Their Kang kong was scrumptious as well.

Not forgetting their tou fu!

Hey guys. It's Friday today and oh boy, finally, weekends!
There are so many tests every now and then. Sometimes it makes me wonder what the hell the school is doing.. giving us test almost everyday.

Okay let's put aside the unhappy stuffs. Woohoo tomorrow is Saturday. Heading down to Outram with my brother to meet my er jie. Will be a pretty long journey but luckily, i have my Ipod with me to keep me going. We were planning to get our new year clothings from Vivo.

One good news. I am finally going back to my Primary school. This may be shocking to you.. I haven't been visiting my primary school since the day i graduated. Feel bad deep inside to decided to meet up with old friends and go together.

Basically thats about all. Ohhh i had a great time playing Table tennis with Cailing and Kammie today after school while waiting for band to start. Lol damn hilarious. It has somehow turned into Table - Badminton Tennis. A Combination of Table tennis and badminton. Haha.

Yeah tomorrow is Saturday! Down with love will finally be telecast and there will be a match tomorrow against arsenal? Well till here.

A Trip to YOG Learning centre

Hey guys. We went to the YOG learning centre located at Kay siang road today!
I only have one word to describe everything, AWESOME!

We had a Powerpoint talk about what YOG is all about and how Singapore prepares for it.
After the presentation, they invited 2 Olympian in, where they were interviewed.

One of the olympian was Ms Jing Jun Hong. You may not know her but she has won quite a number of medals for Singapore.

These are her achievements.

Team comprised of Jing Junhong, Li Jiawei, Tan Paey Fern and Zhang Xueling.The victorious Women's National Table Tennis Team to the 2002 Commonwealth Games did the great honour of ending Singapore's 40-year wait for a gold medal.

Three-time Sportswoman of the Year, has included in her many accolades, a place at the 2001 Sydney Olympics semi-finals.

Partnered Li Jia Wei to win the Women's Doubles title at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Mr Chua Koon Siong was one of our interviewee as well.
He's a weightlifter and has won numerous number of medals for Singapore too.

These are his achievements.

His steadfast resolve and determination had won for him the Sportsman of the Year award thrice, in 1977, 1979 and 1980.

Did not manage to grab hold of any pictures. We didn't have enough time to walk around and have a good look. Everything was so rushy. But it's okay because there are some good pictures on the net!

I enjoyed the trip and I'm glad i've learn more about the YOG that is going to be held in Singapore this year. This is definitely a must go place and i wouldn't mind if i were to go there again.

Chelsea stays on the top

It was another Chelsea match yesterday against Burnley at 1.30am. Stayed all the way up to 1.30am but guess what? I fell asleep after 20 minutes. My eye lids were shutting so yeah, no choice but to sleep and watch the highlights the next day.

Glad that we'd won. 2 - 1. As i only watch the first 20 mins of the match, i could not really tell the match statistics. From the first 20 mins, burnley was taking much of the possession while chelsea are lacking behind a little. There were a lot of chances created but all none went in. Lampard had the most number of chances to score from that short 20 mins.

First goal was scored by none other than our striker, Anelka.
It was a great pass from Joe cole and Malouda. Malouda did the pass amazingly from the corner and Anelka got it in.

The below picture is the picture of the match. Shows great teamwork isn't it?

Second goal scored by our very own captain, Terry! What a powerful header from him. Could not believe my eyes. Super damn powerful! He must have been getting all the jeerings from the crowd due to that issue. Well, i hope the problem will be resolve really soon and hopefully, his position as a captain in England will be with him too.

It's 90 minutes on the clock and it's Chelsea 2, Burnley 1.

Happy Birthday Er Jie!

A Very Happy Birthday to my dearest Er Jie!

Her birthday was on the 28th of January which was yesterday. Went to JUMBO and had a scrumptious meal. San Jie wasn't able to join us because she had to stay in her hostel.
I have a feeling i'm gonna get a terrible sore throat somehow because i ate the whole plate of peanuts.

Hey guys. Chelsea was up against birmingham city yesterday. Didn't watch it but was glad they won. We are now back to the top with 51 points. We have one more game difference so i would say this is a pretty good season.

At the 4th minute, Joe cole passed a perfect ball for Malouda and malouda headed it in easily.

What a pose from him. He headed it in beautifully. Was wrong of me to think that he should be replaced. He's a good player too. I hope to see more of his performance and hopefully, each of the game that he plays will be as good as this match.

Lampard sent in the second goal. He scored from quite a distance, sending the ball straight into the corner of the net. Lampard has been performing badly for the past couple of matches. He definitely has the potential to do even better because he is my favourite player as you can see. Keep up the go performance like today and you will be voted the player of the year again this year!

He scored the third goal too. It was a great run and great shot. Birmingham's keeper was a bit off today. He could have caught it if he was alert.

Life's getting a little harder for me

Hey guys. Hasn't been blogging for a few days. Reason being, NO TIME!
There are tests every now and then and i am pissed off by it.

After every chapter there is a test. What the. I will go crazy sooner or later i believe...
I had my E maths test on Indices + Standard form today and oh boy, i am confident i am going to get full mark.Okay okay i am trying my best to be modest but it is really easy. I can assure you that 90% of the whole class will score full marks.

As for tomorrow, there is a chemistry test. I'm not sure if it's a test or a quiz but as long as it carries a weightage, i am bound to study real hard! Studying from 4pm till 7pm. 3 hours straight but this cannot be done without my ipod. :) Listening to music while studying is the best way to concentrate and get yourself comfortable. Trust me. I just hope tomorrow's chemistry test isn't going to be as difficult as i thought it would be.

Okay enough of test, let's talk about what happened today.
Well, nothing much but i thought i enjoyed PE. We did the long jump today. Do you know that i have been worrying about that since last friday? Finally it's all over. I thought it is going to be difficult like hell but hey, it turns out quite fun. Just a little slippery. Adrian was the joke of the day. Hahaa. Erm, im going to take a rest now. Till here.

The Birth of my very own ipod.

Hey guys. Okay i've got only like 3 minutes to blog about this as i have to sleep soon so this post will be a very rushy one.

Basically, the title says it all. Yep, the birth of my very own ipod. It's strange to see a music lover without an ipod. So once i got my scholarship, i went to order it online with the help of my san jie.
The procedure is really easy. No complicated stuffs and it will arrive about 1 day or the most, 2 days. I ordered it on a sunday and because sunday is not a business day, it will be shipped on monday and it will arrived on tuesday.

So here's how it looks. It looks awesome. DHL express parcel.

I had a hard time trying to figure out how to open up this thing. Hahaaaaa. Oh and by the way, i was doing my a maths halfway when it arrive. As for that, i did it around 9pm+ which was considered really late for me. Putting in the songs, exploring the features and organizing everything took me more than 3 hours i believe...

Blue for me. Definitely, for i am true blue.

It's of palm size. Really comfortable when holding it like this. But i don't feel safe always.
Why? Find out below.

It's bloody damn thin! and i'm afraid it will slip out of my hands!
But don't worry because i will get a cover so it's more safe.

Best reason to explain why i ordered it online. It is because you get to carve your words on your ipod for free!

Although my er jie has been persuading me to get ipod touch instead of the nano, i still think nano would be a better choice for me. Why is that so? Yea i agree than ipod touch has much more features and that is looks cooler, in a sense.

Nano has it cool features too. The built in camera is so so so cool. It's just like any other phone's camera. Sharp and clear. There's games, calenders, alarms, radio, to do list. etc.
Biggest reason why i chose a nano : It's colour is amazing. The blue one caught my attention.

Magnificent Seven from the blues

Hey guys. Did not have the time to update about the last match. It was totally awesome!

The title says it all. It's truly a magnificent seven.
Full time results : Chelsea 7, Sunderland 2

Chelsea were controlling the match all the time. The first goal was scored by Anelka at the 8th minute. He did the right thing, which was to void the goalkeeper. Easy goal.

Second goal was scored by Malouda. It was an unexpected shot from him. Didn't expect it to be in but wow, he just shot it in.

Third goal, was scored by Ashely cole. Again, it was another unexpected shot. Shooting from the side isn't an easy job but he did it! Well done cole!

Fourth goal was by Lampard! Finally! He scored. Brilliant goal from him. He was right in front of the goalpost waiting for his team mate to pass it to him. Just a slight kick from him and it's a goal!

Half time and the results were Chelsea 4 Sunderland 0.
I think this is the best half time chelsea had played so far. Was like "GOAL!" with my brother almost every minute.

Second half started and no doubt that Chelsea will earn 3 points after the match.
Fifth goal, by Ballack. Great header from him. Was amazed, i mean really.

The sixth goal was by Anelka, again. Another easy goal for him. Haha.
The seventh goal, which is also the last goal, was scored by Frank Lampard! Again.
Didn't watch the last goal he scored because i fell asleep after the sixth goal. Haaa.

The reason why we scored that much goal is mainly because the goalkeeper of Sunderland isn't strong. I sense he lacked confidence in himself. After the first half, he completely give up.

This is the best match i have seen so far.

Edusave Scholarship 2009 Presentation

Hey guys. I received my edusave scholarship award today at the void deck of blk 355.

The place was freaking small but it's good that they provided some refreshments.
Oh ya and the place looks horrible. I thought it was some kind of children party going on ... because of the balloons.
Anyway, here are some pictures taken by my Da Jie. Thanks!

We were told to report at 5.10pm for registration but because this isn't my first time, we knew we need not report on the dot. It states on the letter that the registration will close at around 6.10pm so we reached at about 5.45pm which was still considered quite early.

And of course i'm not that stupid to take my seat once i am done with the registration.
You will be bored to death if you took your seat right at the start.
Although there were emcees, they suck! There were so many pauses in between and they do not seem to get enough attention of the people. It will be better if there were no emcees.

I was the 70th student to received to award! That also means i can leave earlier though we are not allowed. Hehe.

Basically the emcees just talk crap until Mr Mah came. He gave a speech and then it was time for the prize presentation ceremony.

Yep and thats all for the presentation. I received a certificate and an amount of $650!

Finally i can see Chelsea play again.

Finally i can see Chelsea play again! Last week's schedule was postponed due to the weather.
This time it will be against Sunderland. Chelsea will be playing home while Sunderland will be playing away.
The match will be shown on 16 January 2010, 11pm.

Hey guys. The long awaited weekend is finally here. Do you know that i've been waiting for this day to arrive? I'm now trashed with lots of homework and it seems like there isn't any available space for me to breathe. Haven touch my homework, but will be in a couple of minutes.

I'll be heading down to collect my edusave scholarship soon. Excited? Nah.
My phone is corrupted. I don't know what the hell is going on. The screen showed lots of colour, corrupted colour. And now i'm really sad. -,- Will be using the other phone temporary until it gets repaired, probably tomorrow.

Friday we had band as usual. We were dismissed around 12.45pm and as we had to do drills, we had to report at 1.15pm sharp. We were late because cailing and i went to tampines mart to have our stuffs photocopied. Dang the auntie let out a humorous laughter that we can never forget. She was saying something then all of a sudden she "HEE HEE". High pitch somemore. I laughed till i walk around the shop. Haha.

Okay i guess i have to at least complete some of my homework now. Till here.
